This place is probably designed for young travelers or backpackers. Very basic rooms for sleep only. Hotel staff is very friendly. Location is at the city center.
Super comfortable bed, great sleeping setup since everything is soundproofed and no light gets in your cube. The vibe of the hotel is super cool. Would stay here again!
This is definite minimalist paradise. For the rest - look for something else. Very little room with cozy bed, well organized restroom/shower, easy to use lockers (very convenient if you need to store stuff before check in or after check out), friendly 24/7 desk. Some reviews mentioned it could be noisy due to younger partying folks being main clients but we stayed there on Monday and it was quiet (have to admit though - in case of noise it would be heard everywhere). There are also nice places to relax and or party on the top terrace but we were just two and preferred to wonder around city.
Fun, cool place to stay. Great breakfast up on top floor and quirky, modern styling everywhere.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Overall enjoyable stay and good value for a 1 week stay in Porto. Staff friendly and courteous. We liked the minimalist box concept and the rooms were very dark at night allowing for a good sleep. Bed was comfortable and A/C was powerful. Wi-Fi was good.
On the downside, due to the lack of windows/ventilation, the bathroom had a constant damp smell, and there were a couple of bugs/flies in the area after a couple of days. The terrace/pool area was nice but a little tired. We didn’t try the main bar/restaurant as the price was higher than the local offerings, but the pool bar was reasonable. Also of a night the room would be rather noisy due to the thin box concept which could make it a little difficult to sleep.
Overall happy with the stay, would visit again and would recommend to friends.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The hotel itself is a beautiful building. Staff are friendly. Simon the bartender makes amazing cocktails. Really good food options at the restaurant downstairs named Big Bad Bank. 9€ for an open buffet breakfast which is great value for money. Great location - it’s within walking distance to the main attractions. Beautiful common spaces - my personal favourite was the reading room. This hotel is not suitable for those who are claustrophobic though as the room is literally a box with no windows / views nor fresh air. Only downsides for me were that the room isn’t very big at all. There are no fridges in your room to keep your drinks cool. No iron for pressing your clothes. The walls aren’t soundproofed, so when someone is up early doing their thing, it unfortunately wakes you up too.

Disliked: Cleanliness
The room dont get cleaned until you leave. The towel where not changed in the five day we where in the hotel. The room had a half roll of toilet paper for two people for five days, I got some nyself at the supermarket. The bin was not emptied in whole of visit. The bathroom floor has no matt and I had a slip and fall. Would recommend you use caution
First of all, this place is unique! Your room is essentially a smaller, minimalistic wooden-box with a comfortable bed. Very similar to the Japanese concept of capsule hotels, except you also have a bathroom. And this hotel is affordable but not as cheap as capsule hotels. There is no window, but you can open a hole in the ceiling or the wooden blinds to the hallway. If you don't suffer from claustrophobia, this place is good to spend a night or two. More suitable for youth and young adults, in my opinion. Cleaning services available upon request.
