This is a hostel level place not hotel. Lack of hot water at 10:00 2 days in a row. Terrible sewer smell in bathroom during the whole trip. Strong perfumes used in the lobby area to "hide" smells. Reasonable location.

We stayed at this hotel and it was an excellent decision. The rooms were really clean, neat, cool, nice and new. The view was fantastic. There was a bit of nosie due to construction but that has nothing to do with the hotel. Very enjoyable. Martha at the reception desk is great, helpful and with great energy. I would strongly recommend this hotel and would love to go back in Porto.

We stayed here for 4 nights in October 2024. This hotel seems to be an one of many older apartments converted into a hotel. It was nice and the staff were very good. Location was excellent - easy walking distance to attractions and metro stations. Despite construction in the area at the time the windows were very well sound insulated and noise didn't bother us at night. I would stay here again.

Great location right in the heart of Porto. Hotel staff were very helpful before arrival recommending restaurants and transfers. Good sized room for a city hotel, comfortable, daily service, proper kettle to make a drink!

Nice central hotel - close to many sites. Easy to walk around from, Sao Bento station is like 3 min. Room was quiet despite the local construction happening. Marta at the front desk was supper personable and helpful. We called down to front desk for iron/iron board and had it was available within 5min. Happy with our stay.

We loved our stay! It’s super convenient and in the heart of all things wonderful. (Loved the Hungry Biker across the street.) Staff are lovely! Construction around the corner could not be helped—and we were warned. Actually construction noise was not bad.)

The exterior is misleading to this hotel. The lobby is understated but the hotel is the optimum blend between historical old and modern convenience. The rooms are very well planned, there is space for your bags and room to live in your space. The french balconies open to the street below and provide the ambiance many other places lack. The bedding was luxurious with extra pillows, everything was fresh and clean. The room was equipt with all the extra plugs we need in today's modern world. We opted for the breakfast and couldn't be happier to have made the decision. The rooftop breakfast offers an excellent choice of fresh local food and a view that can't be beat with the service of a maitre di. The location was so close to every single site Porto has to offer. This hotel was a great combination of everything that made our visit perfect. I highly recommend it!

Property is around massive construction of Liberty Sq. That is outside of their control. However, what is under their control is AC in their rooms working, especially considering that rooms can have up to four windows with direct sunlight to them. No ac and direct sun means you will be sleeping at an oven. The building managers refused to reimburse for a night that they suggested I stayed while they determined with Maintenance no fix could be done. The lack of accountability and help makes me not recommend this hotel at all.
