Modernly furnished and tastefully decorated, this lovely home (100 sqm) is a short drive to various top attractions such as Livraria Lello and Jardins do Palácio de Cristal! The metro station is only a few minutes walk away from the apartment, enabling guests to explore the city with ease.
 
This house is designed with open living, dining, and kitchen areas. Featuring a large sofa and a dining table big enough to accommodate six people.
 
The kitchen is fully equipped with essential cookware and cutlery that you’ll need to whip up a delicious homecooked meal, including a microwave and an oven. The apartment also comes with ironing equipment, should you need it.
 
The three bedrooms feature double beds complete with complimentary hotel-quality linens for maximum comfort.
 
The two bathrooms contain all the essentials you’ll need to freshen up, such as shampoo. Fresh towels will also be provided for your convenience.
 
The home is always professionally cleaned for your comfort.

Utilitarian place
This is a very utilitarian, blue collar place. This is a place to sleep, not a home away from home. The listing says it is modern and spacious. No, at least not the house. The deck is huge, but with a little poor quality outdoor plastic furniture. First the good points: It is virtually next door to the General Torres parking garage which costs only 6 euros to park for 24 hours. The water pressure is great, almost too much. The bedroom windows and blackout shutters seem new and high quality. The two bathrooms look to be remodeled and are ceramic tiled and clean. The metro into Porto has a stop right in front of the General Torres station. Okay, back to the house and the not so good. The listing pictures make it look a lot nicer than it is. The interior is as Plain Jane as you can get. There’s no trash can in the kitchen, no dust pan, no spatula. No condiments at all. You have to buy every little thing to cook. No dishwashing soap or towel- just a 1/2 roll of paper towels. Two toasters, but the black one didn’t work. The pillows are small and limp. The showers are fairly new, but about 28” square so it feels cramped. I booked this place because of the reviews which were very high. The reviews must be manipulated, it is definitely not a nine. You can do better.

Going to Porto or Gaia? You MUST Stay Here!
Amazing 3 bedroom/2 full bath house with all the basics covered. Very clean, thanks to the housekeeping terrific service. The place is steps away from the metro, intercity trains, and an easy walk to really anywhere in Gaia and Porto (via Dom Luis I bridge, upper or lower crossing). Train station has elevators for improved accessibility (although the house itself has stairs to enter from the street to the upper deck). Staying on the Gaia side is optimal because you get to see the beautiful Porto skyline as you walk down to the riverfront or from the upper bridge crossing. Also, best for seeing the amazing sunsets. The walk back up to the house is not very steep compared to other streets. Very comfortable beds. The air conditioning from the rooms kept the whole house livable even on the hottest summer days. Nights are much cooler and may require a light sweater or jacket due to winds from the Douro. Grocery shopping is also close, whether a family owned small fruit store (with other necessities) or Lidl or Mini Preço. Of the two chain stores, Lidl is a little farther walk or metro, but a better selection, particularly breads and meats. There are also an abusando of restaurants in the area. The most amazing water pressure in the showers. Just make sure to control the temperature appropriately. Guestready took care of every request and went above and beyond. If we are ever back in the Porto area, we’ll definitely consider staying here again! Obrigado!
