No a/c. Literally dribbles of water comes out for shower. No place to put luggage except on floor. No help like towels or toilette paper in building; must go outside and down street to get them. No elevator for bringing suitcases up and down on hot day.

Decent hotel for the price
Trip with friends. Decent place, good price and good location, 10 minute walk to the square. Clean enough.
The people working there were so helpful and caring. When they saw I had hurt my knee, they changed our room for the 2nd and 3rd nights so I didnt have to walk up so many flights of stairs.
Hotel stinks like an ashtray in the middle of the night! We checked out early and asked for (and were given) a refund for the second night. Travelling with a friend. Carried suitcases up 23 plus 25 stairs. Noise. People smoking. Overnight staff said it was "impossible" that the reception smelled like smoke in the morning. Day shift worker claimed to be overpowered by the stench upon arriving to work.

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Fairly good to stay in Porto on a budget.
I normally expect a good basic service. Overall, we were happy with the stay for the price we paid. We did not use any of their other service while we were staying.
Good - 1. Close to Batalha square and other tourist places, like Sao Bento and Praca da Liberdade
2. Clean en-suite in the room provided to us
3. Staff were very helpful, the time, we checked in at 20:00hrs without any difficulty. They
even carried our baggage to the room on the 3rd floor.
Room for improvement
1. Beddings could have been cleaner, and possibly changed everyday.
2. TV in our room was not working
3. No wi-fi in the room
4. should have invested a little to make the room more insulated from the noise next door.
5. Difficult to communicate - no one can speak english
6. No A/C in the room
No elevator, nor air conditioning, could not sleep with windows open because of the street noise, extremely uncomfortable beds and pillows, furniture is old and warned, washroom in very poor quality and broken. Only good thing is it's location.
Noisy room. No wifi in the room!!
No lift to get to the 3rd floor. Not possible to swap and get a room in a lower floor! The 3rd stairs so narrow to descend, is very dangerous when you are carrying a piece of luggage, for an eldely person.
Will never recommend the hotel to anyone.
It’s simple but clean and the bed was very good.
There is no air conditioning but we had a fan in our room and it was possible to sleep well although it was very warm outside.
The host who welcomed us was a very nice lady who made us feel very welcomed.
Recommend this place specifically if it is your intention to spend most of the time out in the city.
