The room had an unclean smell. My son described is "an old bowling alley." I got the impression maybe it was a room that allowed dogs, but we didn't have a dog. I felt I like it needed to have the window open for 24 hours. Everything basically worked. The water pressure in the shower was not very strong, but it worked. On the plus side, it is in a great location. Right on the Max line and walkable to PSU and downtown. For the price, I guess it is a fair value.

At check in we were give a room key that the room was already occupied. First time that has ever happened to me. Apologized and backed out and closed the door. They got us another room though it was in a noisy area. The carts they roll around is loud in the concrete. Breakfast was mostly bread items. Nothing not. Hard boiled eggs, cereal muffins and fruit. We skipped it Sunday. The TV in the room was to low too. We propped it in a drawer so it was at eyeball height. Location was good. We were able to talk to m y places to eat and it is right next to a bus and tram station so I can see it’s a great place to go other places.

Our hotel room had a smoker smell to it, the free breakfast wasn't a breakfast, just muffins bagels. Great option for late check out but that's about it. Worth your money for a quick stop

It is an older building with really thin walls. You hear EVERYTHING! The free breakfast is a joke and it is only a good location if you need to go to the university. Besides a few foods trucks nothing really to eat in the area. I would not recommend!

First they gave us a room with people in it, then the TV stopped working and the lady over the phone was rude and did not compensate for anything. So I fixed the TV myself. Then we went down for breakfast in the morning, at 8:45 and there was nothing hot to serve. Our experience last time was completely different and was amazing. That's why we booked here again. Enjoyed our stay. Room was nice and bed was comfortable. We were excited for their breakfast as we have stayed here before, unfortunately they took hot breakfast away. The pool was heated which was a bonus.

Beds are very-much only doubles, old and uncomfortable. Showers are weak. Furniture had stains on it. Generally not well-cleaned. On the last day, they closed the pool, merely because the weather was cool and because it had rained. They should let US decide whether we want to swim or not when it’s cool. Also, they dropped ALL hot items from the breakfast buffet in July, so you should know, it’s just cold breakfast: oatmeals, cheerios, muffins, and bread. Juice & coffee okay, fruit terrible.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. An area for improvement would be the breakfast selection. I was hoping to have something hot like scrambled eggs, bacon, and waffles. So was disappointed in that regard.

Great stay. Very quiet. Daily maid services optional. Very clean. Breakfast was adequate but nothing fresh cooked. No waffle maker. Lots of oatmeal flavors, a toaster for bagels and bread, a little fresh fruit, yogurt, cold cereals, juices.

It took 3 tries to get a room that the key works on, wasn't smelling like smoke, and then it smelled like mold/mildew, was far away from lobby, and charged $13/ night just for parking !!
