Annual Birthday Trip
Our trip was wonderful. The house sits in a quiet serene location, but close enough for us to go to the races at Kentucky Downs, see the show Shiners in Nashville, visit Mammoth Cave, and have some bourbon tasting in Bardstown. This is my favorite destination, and plan to return annually as long as Lila will have us.

Wonderful Weekend in the Farmland
We have stayed on this property while visiting our daughter and family, during numerous occasions. We love the location and ranch-style home. Roomy and well-equipped. I am very happy with the cleanliness of the home this time. Seemed more effort given to cleaning. We had a great weekend and will be staying there again. We were only able to stay one of two nights paid, and hopefully will be able to relax next visit for the full three days! Looking forward to it. Lovely area.

Beautiful and relaxing getaway
The location is beautiful. The house is secure, well maintained, and very clean. We had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend. Especially enjoyed sitting outside in the quiet, serene setting. Sisters Week
We are a group of three sisters plus one niece that get together for a visit twice a year. Two of us live in lower Alabama, the other two in Ohio. We spent both of our visits at this property this year. It is such a peaceful, quiet country setting. The house accommodates our needs with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen and dining area are roomy for meal prep. We enjoy playing games at the dining table and watching movies in the living room. The owner is quick to respond to questions and is very pleasant. This has been the ideal setting for our cozy family gatherings. The setting is very nostalgic for us. While visiting, be sure to try a banana malt at the local Tasty Freeze. What a delightful treat!!

Quiet, remote home
The house was very nicely decorated. Host was pleasant, responsive and easy to work with. Home could use some cleaning and the outside furniture (hanging chair, etc.) is not on a porch next to house but out in the lawn. That in itself is fine but there was no cushion on swinging chair, as pictured not an overhead covering. There was bird poop on a variety of the chairs and no hammock that was useable. Also, no reading light readily available or a comfy chair. One comfy chair but it is in one of the bedroom. Other than that, nice rental.

Country oasis for a calming stay
We stayed at this property for our daughter‘s wedding in nearby Lafayette Tennessee. The home has everything that you could need for a nice visit. We had plenty of beds, towels, and lounging space. We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is spacious and comfortable, and just perfect for relaxing. Good for small children, too. Highly recommend staying here - we felt that it was special because of the family history of the home and farm.

Another perfect stay
My sister and I were blessed to be able to stay here again as we got to meet her 1st greatgrandchild. The house is perfect for us to rest after the drive from South Carolina. We couldn't find a better accommodation if we wanted to. This is definitely our Portland home from now on! Lila simply cannot be topped as a host.
