Welcome to Scallop Cove 2 (Scalloping Sunrise), a charming and cozy bayfront villa nestled on the tranquil waters of St. Joseph's Bay. This idyllic retreat offers two bedrooms - one with a queen bed, and the other featuring a double bed with a twin trundle - perfect for families or small groups. The villa has one bathroom accessible via both sides of the hallway with a walk-in shower. The kitchen is well stocked, and high speed WiFi ensures you stay connected.

Take a step outside to the spacious deck complete with a picnic table for casual dining, or relax in the screened-in porch, perfect for soaking in the fresh sea breeze.

The villas prime location includes a fishing pier just steps away, where you can cast your line while watching the sunrise over the bay, then stroll across the road to catch the sunset on the Gulf's pristine sandy beaches via your dedicated boardwalk (3-5 min walk). You can anchor your boat just off the pier in the shallow protected waters near Pig's Island, making this an ideal spot for boaters and anglers. ***Pier not permitted for mooring***

Parking for two cars and a boat trailer (up to 20 FT) is available.

Conveniently situtated behind Cape San Blas's best bait and takle shop, you'll have access to local fishing tips, bait, and rentals for kayaks and canoes, making this a fisherman's paradise. Adjacent to the shop is a well stocked grocery store and gas station, ensuring you'll never run low on supplies during your stay.

Nestled between the Gulf of Mexico and St. Joseph's Bay, Cape San Blas is a natural paradise, surrounded by miles of pristine beaches, emerald green waters, and protected wildlife habitats. It's common to spot deer, foxes, eagles, ospreys, sea turtles, and even the occasional black bear. Just minutes away, St. Joseph Peninsula State Park offers 2,500 acres of unspoiled beauty within 10 miles of untouched beach and bay shorelines, plus a convenient boat tramp.


Scallop Cove 2 (Scalloping Sunrise) is the perfect coastal getaway for those seeking adventure, relaxation, and everything in between.



Minimum Stay Requirements:
During peak months, a minimum stay of 3 nights is required. Shorter stays may be considered during the off-season.

Occupancy Limits:
The maximum occupancy is strictly 5 people. Names and ages of all occupants must be listed on the rental agreement. Rental rates shown are based on 2 occupants. Additional guests incur a charge of $3 per person, per day. This villa is one of 6, if you have more than 5 guests, please inquire about renting other villas.

Pet Policy:
Pets are welcome with a nonrefundable pet fee of $75 for the first pet and $50 for the second pet. All pets must be declared and listed on the rental agreement.

Cleaning Fees:
A standard cleaning fee of $185 applies. Additional charges include $20 for stays exceeding 7 days, $65 for stays exceeding two weeks, and $120 for stays exceeding four weeks.

Taxes:
A 12% combined sales and lodging tax will be applied to all rental rates.

Credit Card Fee:
3.5% service fee applied to credit card payments.

Security Deposit:
A refundable security deposit of $200 is required with reservation. This deposit will be returned within 14 days of checkout, provided no damage, unauthorized guests, or undeclared pets are reported.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations more than 30 days before check-in:
All payments will be refunded, excluding credit card processing fees paid.

Cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in:
50% of the rent and fees, excluding credit card processing fees paid, will be refunded.

Mandatory Hurricane Evacuation:
In the event of a mandatory hurricane evacuation, a prorated refund of the base rent will be issued for the days the property cannot be occupied. No refunds will be issued for other weather-related events.

We strongly advise purchasing trip insurance.

Cute Hidden Gem
After years of visiting San Blas with other families, staying in big houses, this year I visited solo and am so glad I found Scallop Cove - never even knew these cute cottages were back there! This was perfect for just me and would have been fine for a family of 3 or 4 (and dog) too. Location was great, it's nice and quiet back there and the view out the back porch and patio is lovely. Easy walk to the beach across the street and nice to be able to pop in to the shop for a sandwich or snack. Easy check in and out, wish I could have stayed longer!

View is absolutely beautiful for sunrises! Run across the street to the private Scallop Cove beach access and see to die for sunsets! Fishing is great off the dock, perfect for kayaking to see stingrays, sharks, or snorkel when tide is lower to see starfish & crabs. House has everything you need and super comfy beds! We will be back in the future! ❤️
