Welcome to Ongermein. House equiped with everything uou need to sit back relax and listed to the ocean from only a short distance away. With upstairs living, ocean view from the front and rear deck, light house is within sight marking the most southern point of South Australia.

Bedrooms down stairs with bathroom including a bath and shower, with separate toilet. The house comes with everything to sit back and unwine. With an intimate beach across the road and a walk trail to town to cafe, pizzeria or the country hotel. Fishing from the jetty or breakwater is a must. Large play ground with skate park is not to far away. Port Macdonnell makes a great base location to explore the Limestone Coast. From the quiet beaches, fresh water ponds to exploring sinkholes and dormant volcanos. Please let my local knowledge be your knowledge, I can recommend places to explore, eat, drink or just hide away from the world.

We really enjoyed our time here. Everything we could possibly need was available in house. The shower was lovely, the couch was comfy, we had a water view, the walking track was across the quiet road. The owner was very responsive, helpful and left a lovely gift for us. We enjoyed our stay here, the host John was great when there was a small technical glitch he responded immediately. The house is in a perfect location with wonderful views and the house was clean and tidy and had a large upstairs area. The host John also left us a lovely gift which was a wonderful suprise. My Family and I had a fantastic stay at Ongermein. The property was stunning in a fantastic location overlooking the sea with great views to look at the water in the afternoon as you unwind and relax from the day. The property itself was amazing and had everything you need and then some. And finally the host was fantastic, his communication, knowledge and thoughtfulness was top notch and as a result enhanced our overall experience making this stay for us a 5 star experience. We will definitely take the opportunity to stay at Ongermein again next time we are back in the region.

Thank you. We were happy staying here. It's close to the beach and very comfortable. However, note that you don't get an unobstructed view of the beach from the living area. Best to go out and walk along the road to see the beach and views in full glory. Some suggestions for the host. A towelling bathmat would have been a good addition to avoid leaving water on the bathroom floor and can be easily laundered between guests. The kitchen has plenty of crockery, loads of utensils and basic cooking gear but we could not find a teapot for brewing our leaf tea.

Awesome place to stay
Awesome place to stay with amazing views and great location. The beds were comfortable and the house layout worked great for our family and dogs. The barrier gate at the top of the stairs was fantastic. The enclosed yard was perfect for our dogs. John was brilliant to communicate with and we really enjoyed our stay.
