The room smelled horrible, not sure from what. The desk clerk came to our room to smell. She offered me a canna Febreze, or she could move me ugh. I had already settled in, so I took the can breeze which didn’t do much she said, possibly it was curry from somebody cooking something in the microwave, and I said it it definitely wasn’t curry. It was Strong and never did go away. I did let them know upon exiting. Also in the evening the shower water never got hot and in the morning it was so hot. It was hard to shower. There was no cool water. I don’t know what’s going on, but they need a plumber. I stayed in the exact same room nine days prior room 131 and it did not have an odor and that day there was no hot water. I went to check. I had already received an email confirmation as well as a text that I was checked in in the meantime, the clerk stepped away from the desk , fussing with a remote control for a television this battery wouldn’t work that battery wouldn’t work. I finally went around the corner to find her. I’m like can we go on with us? I’d like to get checked in and a key for two rooms. Whatever I probably would never stay here again , the lobby and hallways reeked of some sort of very fragrant cleaning product Fabuloso it was a horrible way too much. I realize they’ve had several storms there recently, but that is not an excuse.

Roach motel
Checked into our room with my wife and 2 year old daughter. After about an hour in the room, found out there is an infestation of cockroaches. Roaches of all sizes. Packed our bags and left. Didn’t even get an apology from the front desk. Spoke with hotels.com about a refund. After our story with pictures, hotels.com was very understanding and tried to get ahold of the hotel to start the refund process and could not get ahold of the place. Will be working with hotels.com to get my money back.

I got charged for two nights I think even three nights and I only stayed once, and then the guy says oh that'll take 3 to 5 days to get back on your card. What the hell they doing taking more than one night if I'm staying one night.
