The property needs to be updated. ALL furniture including mattresses, bedding and pillows. Furniture was not functioning properly. Bed was uncomfortable and pillows were terrible and cheap. Mildew on lamps. Luckily we were only there to sleep. Stayed for 6 nights.

When we booked with Expedia. It only showed us rooms being updated. Unfortunately, when we got to the Hotel we took one good look at our room and it was outdated. Very disappointed.The very next day I spoke to a so call manager, which I don’t even know if the person was a manager. Didn’t even have a manager name tag. She only provided me with a hotel card, with hotel manager name Elianette Ortiz. I was also told that every room in that hotel looked the same. I was lied to by this person up in the front. The next morning when we went to leave, one of the rooms was wide open, which is suite 100. This is the room that is updated.I brought this up to different staff about this. This person opened up to me, the hotel Utilizes that room for Expedia to fool guest on thinking they’re going to get this beautiful room for a great price. I had nowhere else to go, so I had to suck it up. Stay there because I had my family with me. Where was I going to go with 2 children. The other hotels around us were a little pricey. The Moral of this is not to put any false advertisement up on Expedia. Caribe Hotel should of given Expedia the out dated pictures of the room as well. Also I found mold on one of their chairs in the room I was staying. I took pictures of our outdated room which I will be gladly to share it with Expedia. The staff were kind and always with a smile. The only thing I didn’t appreciate was being lied to in front of my face also false advertisement on the hotel rooms.

Very easy to get on the highway. Really like the hotel but I think that the Administration could consider soon a very deep cleaning on the rugs, inside the rooms and in the hallways, they even smell like they have been there for long time, have stains and that gives a bad impression on the cleanliness and the odor of the place.

Great location, price. Nice pool open 10am to 10pm. Coin washer and dryer on site, although the 1st floor washer wasn't working for a week. Key cards to open gate to get in parking lot to hotel. Harassed constantly and daily about wearing a paper bracelet to be in the hotel common area or the pool, which i feel is silly since they dont allow guests and everyone needs a key card to get in. Rooms are nice and spacious, and all of them come with a view of the pool. Closely located to shopping areas. The smell of cow manuer by a nearby farm is overwhelming at times, which ruins the desire to go outside or to the pool. The air conditioner must be kept on or there's a musty smell. Overall, the place needs some serious updating. Other than that it was okay.

Staff gave us another room because there was a cockroach on the ceiling. Glad I did not see any other insects after that. Hotel was expensive for the average cleanliness. Rooms need to be painted.
