Villa Coster del Puig is in a stunning location on the gentle lower slopes of the Puig de Maria mountain, accessible up a country track next to the famous monument, just off the Pollensa road. It has spectacular views over the old town of Pollenca to the wooded hills beyond, and is only a short walk from the town itself. It's a traditionally built Mallorcan cottage made from local stone, with modern styling inside-white walls, terracotta-tiled floors, beamed ceilings, and halogen spot lighting. The airy sound-proof lounge, dining room and kitchen are all open plan. The lounge area has comfortable sofas, dark wood furniture and a traditional Mallorcan stove. Double patio doors lead out onto the terrace. The kitchen area has appliances including a dishwasher and a microwave. There's also a pantry with lots of storage space. The two bedrooms are both beautifully furnished with antique furniture, and have views over the gardens. These bedrooms share a bathroom with a bath and a shower. A vine-covered terrace runs along the lounge side of the house, with a table and benches. There are wonderful views from here of the old town of Pollenca, the famous 365 Calvari steps and the mountains beyond. Looking the other way, there are lovely views of the Puig de Tomir mountain. There's another terrace in front of the house with a built-in barbecue and its own seating area.
The gardens at Villa Coster del Puig are very well cared for with lawns and mature shrubs and trees. The pool itself is surrounded on three sides by lawn, and a stone sun terrace with comfortable sun loungers runs along the other side. This is a lovely villa in a wonderful location and yet is just a short walk from Pollensa and its cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. Lovely beaches are also a short drive away.

Great house and location
The house is perfectly located for walking into Pollenca, whilst feeling private and with nice views over the valley. The house itself had everything we needed, it was traditionally decorated and accessoried but cleans and a good layout for 2 or 4 guests. The pool and veranda were great additions to the house. We'd suggest not having a huge car as the driveway upto the house is quite narrow in places.

Schönes Haus auch zum Teleworking!
Das sehr gepflegte Haus liegt kaum 5 min zu Fuss der schönen Stadt Polença. Wir haben da 10 Tage Telearbeit gemacht (ohne Kinder), es war sehr entspannend. Wifi war perfekt. Aus der Terrasse hört man ein bisschen die Straße, die gut befahren ist. Im Haus selbst hört man es überhaupt nicht. Da wir Ende Herbst gekommen sind hätten wir uns mehr Direktsonne gewünscht; die Sonne schien ab 14:30 erst auf das Haus (Wegen Berg). Für die heisse Saison ist es sicherlich einen Pluspunkt, dass das Haus eher in Schatten des Bergs liegt. Der Pool und den Garten sind sehr gepflegt. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich. Die Gästebetreuung vor Ort ist sehr nett und antwortet schnell. Wir waren sehr zufrieden!

Great house close to Pollensa
The house is actually even nicer than in the photos. The pool is big enough to do some real swimming. The garden is beautifully maintained and provides enough shadow on hot days. You can walk to the central square of Pollensa in under 10 minutes. Lots of restaurants there. One of the best fincas we ever stayed in.
