Lovely little room for an overnight stay, just a shame it's a tad noisy at night but calmed down after midnight. Food was brilliant at night, waiters could've been a little more professional. Breakfast was delicious in the morning. Overall a good stay and a brilliant bed too!

Room was really cold on my late arrival with the window open and 1 degree outside, breakfast didn't arrive at stated time sat at a table for 15mins and left as i had an appointment, room was clean bathroom clean was ok

Lovely clean room with modern bathroom. Bed was lovely and comfortable. Staff were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely and although we didn’t eat there in the evening the food looked fantastic.

Extremely comfortable rooms in a well located inn.
This old coaching inn has been fully refurbished to a very high standard. Extremely comfortable rooms in an inn that feels friendly and informal whilst still maintaining excellent standards of hospitality. A good breakfast sets you up for the day and there are decent quality toiletries to add to the comforts of the good sized rooms. The king size bed was very comfortable. Mid price, well located hotel that offers excellent value in an area where this is not always easy to find.

Room was spacious & clean. Friendly helpful staff. Loved the eggs royale at breakfast. Good selection for breakfast. Shops, restaurants & pubs within walking distance. St Maurice conservation area just down the road with church & castle. Beaches within 15 mins drive. Can be in Cornwall with 40 mins.

Happy to stay here.
Nice place to stay. Very welcoming, good food and drink and excellent staff. Had to mark down slightly as found empty packet under bed but rest of room was very clean and tidy.
