Beautiful Beach House with Guest House on White Horse Beach Stunning Ocean Views

This is a beautiful newly renovated beach house right on White Horse Beach. The house is located right across the street from the walk down to the beach. Enjoy stunning views of the beach and the Gurnet from either the lower enclosed deck or from the top deck. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the summer. The house compound is comprised of a 3 bedroom main house, private outside shower, and a 3 bed, 1 bath guest house. The cozy cottage main house has two entrances via the wrap around porch. One in the back that enters into the kitchen with a big pantry. The kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and a sink with a dry rack for washing dishes. The front entrance enters into the living room, allowing for quick access to the beach. The bathroom is big for a beach house and contains the laundry machines. The dining room has a gorgeous 6 seat table, perfect for a family dinner after a day on the beach. The living room has a HD TV, gliding chair and a 3 person couch. Basic HD cable along with wifi is including with the house. The main stairs are off the dining room and lead up to the three bedrooms. They are a steeper stair case that give the house that vintage cottage charm. The back bedroom consists of two twin beds. The middle room has 1 twin bed and the front master room has a queen size bed with grand views of the ocean and beach. A sliding glass door in the master bedroom leads to the top deck that can easily fit up to 10 people and has stunning views of the ocean and the Gurnet. The entire main house has central air conditioning and each bedroom has their own window unit AC so each guest can set their perfect temperature in their bedroom.
The guest house is a cozy little cottage within its own right. It has a front deck that leads into the living room. A small little kitchen with a partial bath and 1 bedroom with a full size bed. The guest house can sleep 4 comfortably and has 1 bed and a futon that pulls into a queen size bed. The guest house has a window AC in the bedroom along with another AC in the living room allowing to keep the house very cool and comfortable on those hot summer nights. The outside shower is located on the rear of the house. It is fully functional with benches, a private door, and both a top shower head and lower nozzle to rinse off feet after spending the day on the beach. There is a driveway that can fit up to 3 cars on the right side of the main house. On the left side yard can accommodate an additional 5 cars parked in front of the guest house. There is a nice backyard with a picnic table and full propane grill for having fun cook outs. Both houses have pillows and linens included along with kitchen amenities such as pots, pans and silverware. There is also four beach chairs and beach towels provided.

Great beach cottage!
We really enjoyed our stay and plan to be back. The house has everything you need and is in good shape. It’s a rustic beach cottage, so don’t expect anything modern, but do expect a comfy place to stay (the AC was a nice upgrade, laundry came in handy, and all kitchen essentials were available) with plenty of space between the main house and guest house to sleep multiple families. The location is the selling point for sure being right across street from beach and in a nice beach neighborhood. Screened in porch and balcony were also very enjoyable. Dan was responsive and helpful which was appreciated.

Nice summer cottage, we enjoyed our stay. Owner very responsive. The only negative are the inside stairs they are extremely steep. My 17 yo son actually fell down them, would not recommend for anyone with walking disability or elderly. Also, there was no toilet paper or paper towel when we arrived (none in guest house either where my elderly mother was staying). Other than that, it was a great relaxing week. Would stay again.

Perfect Beach House
this worked out nicely for me and my family, 2 houses allowed the kids to have their own space. 2 minute walk to the beach and general store. Very close to stores as well. Hope to be back!

There were 9 of us and 3 small dogs for our vacation. The property is perfectly located across the street from the beach. And a quick drive into the town center. The house is cozy but was completely doable for the 9 of us. The teens enjoyed the cottage to get away from the adults but most of the time was spent down at the beach. The main bedroom has a wonderful view of the ocean and is the best bedroom of all! The outdoor shower is wonderful and offers privacy so you can take a real shower. The house comes with more beach towels than you know what to do with along with most things you need for a stocked kitchen. Things you should know: If you think you need a sharp knife for food prep, bring one. I assume the knives have gotten dull with so much use over the years. The keurig is a single cup and is slow. There are 4 coffee mugs available. The stairs in the house are steep and narrow. If anyone in your party has mobility issues have them stay in the cottage. The bathroom is on the first floor and the bedrooms on the second. You should be aware that there are quite a few stairs down to the beach or a steep sand ramp. The beach is beautiful! It is rocky so if you’re looking to take walks you may want to bring water shoes. Dan, the host, is THE BEST. Super responsive and so easy to work with!

Loved the outdoor shower! Stairs were quite steep to bedrooms. AC was a blessing in 90+ degree weather with high humidity! Perfect outdoor space. The children enjoyed having their uncles in the ‘guest house’ and would go knocking on their door to visit or sit on their porch. The uncles enjoyed the relative privacy and quiet away from their nieces. The balcony gave us beautiful views at sunrise and sunset.

Absolute Beautiful Area
I was very satisfied with my stay and my family enjoyed the area. We were close enough to catch the train in to Boston for a day, walk on the beach another, and spent time in Plymouth. Very cute theme and provided everything we needed for an enjoyable holiday adventure. Thank you!

Great stay!
We had an amazing time and Dan’s place is such a quintessential cape. This place is just a few steps away from the beach access/entry so we ended up going sometimes 3 times a day for beach walks which was amazing. And two houses was such a bonus! I will say the stairs in the main house are steep so for folks with kids or those who might need easier access, I’d bring a gate and plan on using the guest house which has the bedroom on the main floor. Also the main house does have great cooling and heat which is hard to find in the old caps and perfect for our brisk fall stay. Overall, highly recommended!

Great stay. Loved the beach. Nice easy walk to the beach.
We loved it. The house has central air which was very nice on the very hot days. The second cottage is very sweet which was convenient for my sister who couldn’t climb stays. The yard was nice for our family pets. We could let them out and not worry about them.

Comfortable cottage by the beach
The property had every convenience, and was right across the street from the beach. We really utilized the enclosed porch-was fun to people watch and maintain privacy. Indoor stairs to second floor were steep (might want to consider installing additional hand rails for those with limited mobility)but luckily there was a second set outdoors that led to balcony and entrance to main bedroom. Beds were comfy and clean. Bathroom was spacious and the washer dryer were a nice asset. The guest cottage was really sweet. The owner was amazing at communicating back quickly about any questions. Would definitely consider staying again.

We loved the quaint beach cottage! It was everything we wanted for a our beach vacation. Perfect location, a 2 minute walk to beautiful White Horse Beach. The cottage was clean and roomy enough for our brood, yard was great, the neighbors were as well. Our entire experience was wonderful.

Experience wonderful. Place lacked much in the way of simple conveniences!
Simple fixes: considering it is a beach resort, in need of hooks/bars/clothesline to hang wet towels/suits, as well as a hook/ place to hang towel in outdoor shower that is not likely to get wet. Could use stepping stones to guest house, rain pooled in trench so you had to walk straddling the higher ground. Unable to get WiFi in guest house for TV/phone/etc. Maybe a WiFi extender?. Other: Overall, far from clean, especially windows, base boards and window sills. For the price, could be made more appealing.

Lots of things to do nearby. The house itself is cozy and the stairs are definitely steep, but the overall experience was great! My dogs loved the fenced in yard and my family enjoyed the screened in porch. Had a few issues with outdoor shower and guesthouse stove, but they were resolved quickly. The ocean was FREEZING but the pet friendly beach made up for it. My favorite part of the trip was our fire on the beach where we roasted S’mores

We had a great time! The location could not have been better! The house is as pictured. The beds were very comfortable and the house was clean. I only wish there were more seating outside for family dinners. The porch was great. We spent every night sitting and relaxing with the family!

Great property- Awesome location!
We stayed at this great property with friends. There were 4 adults, 1 teen, 3 kids, 1 toddler, and (2) 6 month old puppies with tons of energy! We loved that entire property is fenced in and our pups were safe outside unsupervised for brief moments. It was directly across from the entrance to private White Horse Beach. The beach was incredible! There were a few shark sightings, and 2 para sailers which collectively led our boys to coin this trip as “The most epic trip ever”. It was a great local trip during a very tough time in history. We really loved our stay there and look forward to staying there again in the future.
