Me gustó mucho el hotel y el servicio. La comida no es extraordinaria pero tiene buen sabor. Lo único que no me gustó fue que el bar de la piscina estaba lleno de niños. Si uno como adulto quería pedir algo no podía porque el área que se supone está destinada para adultos por que es un bar! Esté llena de niños. Se que es un hotel familiar y que está bien que los niños estén con sus papás. Solo esa observación. Que específicamente en la barra se les limite un poco. Que les sirvan sus bebidas pero no que ocupen todo el bar

The property it’s located in a very safe neighborhood, food was amazing, courteous staff, we didn’t have much time to spend at the pool but the one day we did it the pool was clean and nice spot to chill. The beach within walking distance, had an amazing experience, planning my return trip again!

The property and staff were great. We had a really nice room and the beach and pool were really nice. I got an amazing deal on Expedia. The only reason it's a 4 and not 5 star rating is the food. While it certainly isn't bad. It wasn't great and there weren't a lot of options. Regardless it was a great experience and value. I would certainly return.

Property was great, we had easy access to food options, bars and parking. Very close to Quinta Avenida and the beach is beautiful and well kept. We upgraded to Gold bracelet and it was well worth it for us. Check in was efficient and overall we will definitely stay here again. It was awesome to see the parachutes landing right in front of us. Great job by buffet area staff. Thank you!!!

Nice resort with really nice architecture that’s beautifully integrated with the jungle-like setting. It’s not a luxurious property and the food was ok but not exceptional. However this resort had everything we wanted and a long stretch of beach. The staff were very friendly, and we felt like it was great quality for the price.

Honestly the best hotel i have ever stayed in and i have stayed in a few in different cities the staff was amazing when you walk in they offer you a drink because is an all inclusive the food is delicious and they also have a snack bar during the whole day and at night the snack bar serves tacos for the party animals highly recommend

-Staff was very pleasant -Buffett options were not that great - I wish that the shower water could get hotter -Dining on the beach was wonderful- food was excellent - Ice Cream service was a nice touch -Snack bar was horrible! The quality of the food and presentation was not appetizing. Pool staff and Spa was great. My one area of extreme disappointment was that my IPAD, 2.cell phone cargers and laptop charger mysteriously disappeared!!!!! Houskeeping was the last person to enter my room. I feel blamed when one of the staff commented about using the safe. Im waiting on a final report. Ive traveled for years and I have never experienced this.

Sorry to say but this was one of my worst vacations to Cancun. I won’t be staying at the Reef Playacar in playa del Carmen in the future I know the hotel won’t care for a few clients less. This hotel needs to improve their food selection and associates friendliness some are rude. I just want to say thank you to Felipe from the Buffet station I think he was a supervisor he was very friendly and help us get soup for my sister-in-law that was sick.

Loved the amazing view of the ocean, pools and how the lobby resort its self was different compared to other resorts. This one had more of a jungle vibe which was a great change! The workers were always willing to help and were very generous! Great food as well.

While the property is in a very nice area, the managing of the property and operations itself can benefit from some upgrades: 1) Food options seem limited. On more than one occasion, I wanted to go out of the resort to find better food options. 2) Some of the property areas need to be fixed (there was a water stain on a column in the Mexican restaurant, which is one of the two sit-down restaurants on the property). 3) Some services can add value to the experience, such as room service. 4) Be honest about what "all-inclusive means." I was told activity items were included, though it was only available for 30-minutes and then could be rented at an extra charge. 5) Have the basic necessities covered. On multiple occasions, the bars did not have cups available. 6) Have better options for grill and make the tacos available any time, not just between 10pm-2am. 7) Have more activities during the week, not just over the weekend. My famliy was there for 7 days, from Wed to Wed. We saw the difference in what was offered.
