Nicely centralized resort layout..where the restaurants, beaches, pools and kids activities were easy to access and very enjoyable! You have to pay for many things, since you have to pay taxes it is assumed that you have already paid for everything, and if you go to eat at a restaurant they come to sell you something that is not included and things like that.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Royalton Splash Cancun, and I can confidently say that it exceeded all my expectations. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with spacious, clean, and well-appointed rooms that provided all the comforts I could ask for. The housekeeping team also deserves a special mention for their impeccable service – the room was always spotless. But what truly stood out, however, was the exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Whether it was offering personalized recommendations or promptly addressing any requests, their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident at every turn. It’s rare to experience this level of care and attentiveness, and I truly felt like a valued guest throughout my stay. Every single staff member at the hotel was very attentive and helpful all the time. Special mention and thank you to Ricardo and Alan (concierge from Prime office), Serge (butler from diamond club), Gerard (from guest service). My sincere apologies for the names I am missing in this review since every staff member contributed to make our vacation one of the best we have had so far. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking top-notch service, a comfortable stay, and an unforgettable experience. I will definitely be returning for future visits!

The hotel is by the sea, surrounded by jungle and it is so peaceful. However in the hotel you have great and big pools, access to the beach, all sorts of restaurants, even life shows and a water park. You don’t have to leave at all, but if you do like to explore they assist you with excursions of all kinds with transportation and amenities, it’s truly a beautiful experience and so family friendly, we love it and would go back tomorrow if we could

The buffet Staff employees, need more communications training. Employees seem to be angry and frustrated when it comes to be asked for food items, two of the four I was there I was ignored and was not even serve water, I had to stand up and pick up a fork and for myself. Also when asking for a hamburger or tostadas at the blue food trucks, employees refuse to give food saying that there is not enough for the rest of the line. I asked for fries and hamburger and was told that they do not have any, the employees have an attitude and do not want to cooperate, this same attitude happed for the rest of my staying at the Royalton. I also had to call for room service every day constantly, because it will not be done even with the sing outside the door.

The check in process was ridiculous….they made us wait over an hour and then gave us the wrong room said they didn’t have the one we booked available. They would not offer any other options just saying in this room and all 3 of you need to sleep in the king bed until we can try and get you another room tomorrow…we wasted so much time waiting for the room we couldn’t enjoy ourselves.

Our Expedia host Krystel was AHHHMAZING! Her going above and beyond is an understatement. She was the sweetest and most helpful. She even came in on her day off to decorate the room for my boyfriend’s bday. She was such a gem. Whatever y’all pay her, she needs TRIPLE! All the staff we great and super kind and accommodating. We enjoyed the food, the property was gorgeous, we loved our room with the hot tub on the balcony. Food was great too! Def will be returning!

Horrible first family vacation to Mexico. Overpriced, paid for the Diamond Club which got you nothing. Loud, no hot water for 3 days, limited restaurant options because everywhere needed reservations that you couldn't make until you got there so we had to eat at the Buffett most meals. Terrible service, no available lounge chairs at the pool... I could go on.

Gorgeous views! Lovely beach. Spacious rooms with big shower and lots of water pressure. Great restaurant variety. Italian, French and Zen are all fabulous experiences. Poolside food and drink service was great. The lazy river is really cool and the slides are thrilling! Staff very friendly and polite. We loved our concierge Krystle handling everything for us. The buffet was absolutely amazing for breakfast lunch and dinner. The coffee shop was open all the time and made great drinks. Challenges we learned to overcome included getting dinner reservations for restaurants and getting chairs poolside. Dinner reservations fill fast so set your alarm for midnight and make your reservations on the Royalton app 2 days ahead. Someone must get up early to set towels and personal items on poolside chairs or you won’t have seats. I mean early! Once you learn these tricks you will have an absolutely wonderful time. We had a wide age range from grandparents to 1 year old and everyone was delighted. It’s worth it to go Diamond Club if you can but regular is fine too. Oh! Don’t miss the spa and go early for the hydrotherapy! Phenomenal!

Crystal from Expedia was outstanding ! As was medical treatment we received from hotel ! The food and cleanliness of property was excellent ! The employees were great ! Service slow at times and room was not always cleaned until evening but other than that it was great resort ! Something for everyone !

Pros: - The resort is clean. - The waterpark is incredible! - The buffet offers a wide variety of delicious food options. - Most staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. - The kids’ club is well-designed and has a great selection of activities. - The gelato is absolutely delicious! Cons: - The food at the fine dining restaurants was disappointing. - The kids’ club on the third floor was often closed. The staff said they didn’t have enough staff to watch them separately, so all the kids had to sit at a table and play Uno, even though they didn’t want to. When we visited, there were only six kids and five staff members, which was quite frustrating that they did not allow my son to play the activity he wanted to play.
