That was, by far, the best place I have ever stayed! My daughter, 84 yr old mother and I had a fabulous time. We had gourmet meals at every serving and tried had tried and loved quite a variety of dishes served (the pastries were divine). We also canā€™t say enough about their exceptional staff and service! Raul, Carlos, Jose to name a few were fabulous. Or and we will never forget Victor, our waiter, for several dinners. He was phenomenal offering suggestions for meals and drinks and going over and above entertaining us! We highly recommend Blue Diamond for your next stay!!

My wife and I spent 5 nights here. We have been to many all-inclusive resorts. This one was, by far, the best. The food was great, not your typical all-inclusive food. It was very quiet exactly what we were looking for. We are both active and in our mid 40s. Our room was located about 1 mile from the beach - the farthest room from the beach. We, however, enjoyed the nice walk or bike ride to get around and it quickly became a nostalgic feeling of sorts. The resort has plenty of bikes to get around and golf cart shuttles if you like. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We would love to go back again someday soon!

Stunning location!! I'm used to going to beach front resorts and even though this has beach cabanas (which are stunning! Worth the upgrade) the lagoon and cenote along with the biking path and groves is magical. You feel like you're on a private resort!! Only two restaurants which switch days they are open and one bar which is still enough to get any beverage you want and leaves you full. I recommend sticking to local dishes and the seafood (the sushi is amazing!). It was renovated years ago so if you look too closely you'll find wear and tear but there are constantly people working on the grounds improving everything. The spa is gorgeous and relaxing. Honestly I felt like a celebrity and I would like to come back!

My wife and I recently celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary at the Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique and could not have asked for a more incredible experience. The resort itself is retreat-like with peaceful zen vibes but the quality and care of the facility provides that luxury resort feel. The staff was attentive, social and truly at your service with no hesitation and always with a smile. We love to eat and appreciate flavorful cuisine and we were not disappointed. We truly enjoyed every meal. There are activities & ceremonies to participate in when looking to keep busy but never pressure to sign up. A resort that provides all that the soul needs to restore - spas, pools, with the sound of the ocean, delicious cuisine & cocktails as well as morning yoga. Paulo was our bartender and weā€™d like to give him a special thank you. šŸ˜Š

We loved everything about this resort. We were surprised upon arrival to receive a room upgrade to an oceanfront casita! It was beautiful and we could walk right off of our patio onto the beach. The room was luxurious. We loved the rooftop infinity pool. Our butler, Israel, was very helpful arranging spa appointments and other on-site activities. Pool bartenders, Damian and Gustavo, kept the drinks flowing poolside. We really enjoyed our tequila tasting experience with David. He was very knowledgeable and engaging. The food at the resort was good - like with all restaurants, there were things we liked more and things we liked less, but good overall. We really loved the ceviche that could be ordered poolside. If we could change one thing about the Blue Diamond, we would add a feature to be able to heat the outdoor plunge pool. The water was ok during the day, but too cold for us in the evening. Something to note, the distance is long from the lobby to the beach. There are golf carts and bikes available for transport, but maybe keep in mind when choosing your room.

CONS: Lightbulbs donā€™t work, multiple request for replacements Mold in shower Butler is no show, does absolutely nothing Daily request for water & drink refills in mini-fridge Daily request for ice Request for coffee refill when it was used Bicycles have flats & no brakes Bathtub/ā€œCool dip poolā€ in bathroom room doesnā€™t work, hot water knob was broken off and cold water was turned off. Bathroom lighting is extremely dim Toilet constantly runs & surrounding wood flooring is rotting Skylight over sink in bathroom has old animal feces on interior wall. Car costs-1000 meters nextdoor to Mayakoba for golf was $65 US dollars. This is a great location and hotel. If youā€™re looking for relaxation, some solitude, great food, quietness, and a pet friendly hotel, this is it. I highly recommend this place and hope to return soon with my pup.

Staff was great and very accommodating and the property is beautiful, however is in very poor condition as lack of funding is apparent. Food is plain bad and should focus on Mexican dishes which were really good. Drinks feel watered down. We spend one night and left to a different hotel.
