Good stay, but cleaning could be better
I booked this room due to my father having a major surgery at UPMC Presbyterian. It is very close and convenient to the hospital. It was also a bonus that there was a restaurant and bar within the hotel. There were no free self park options at the hotel, but that was not unexpected for the location. The only reason I do not give 5 stars is due to cleanliness. In no way an I saying the hotel was dirty, but it was what I describe as "dingy". It could have been much cleaner. The floors were not completely clean, the table had obviously not been wiped down recently, the chair had suspicious white spots on it (never good in a hotel), and some of the fixtures had obviously not been wiped down in some time. While it wasn't perfect, it wasn't bad enough that I wouldn't stay again. The most pleasantly surprising part was the restaurant and bar inside the hotel. After a long day at the hospital, I did not feel like going out to eat and did not have high expectations from the restaurant. However, my food was excellent and so was my service. Even though there was only one waitress working, she was excellent and so was the food.

The older bald man at the counter is rude and lazy. I also reported that the couple next to our room were fighting all night and banging on walls and yelling. Was not able to sleep all night, felt unsafe, called the desk and they told me that someone would go and check on it. No one ever did, I was also told that I would get a small credit on my room, never saw that credit. For this hotel to be a Hilton I expected a better stay. I have always stayed at more affordable hotels with better service. This is the first time that I stayed at a Hilton . Will never stay in one again . Sadly yo say that one person ruins it for all. You should not have someone working there is that unhappy to be there. The bartenders at the bar were also rude and didn’t look happy to be there.

Decent stay, but hotel is little older and was a lot farther away from the stadium than what was indicated or what I thought it would be. It showed a couple of miles, but was definitely 20 minute uber ride to the stadium. Not sure if I would stay only due to distance, but otherwise hotel served as a good hotel for a stay.

The staff was kind, and our King bed was extremely comfortable. Our only recommendation would be to update the shower (our preference are shower doors vs. a curtain, and ours seemed a bit outdated). Great location in the heart of U of Pitt.
