Cool to stay in a room since 1751! Staff was amazing and welcoming ! Easy check out ..only issue is trash cans all had no trash bags and ceiling fan was covered in dust above the bed ...sunday brunch is a MUST

New Years eve getaway
The Inn and everyone were wonderful and so welcoming. We booked for New Years Eve, a little getaway. They had a wonderful restaurant, a live band, dance floor and bar with a complimentary midnight champagne toast. What an extraordinary time and place!!

Quiet spacious property and grounds with exceptional food and customer service. All department staff were extremely friendly and anxious to please. We plan to return soon.

The room we had gad a nice sitting room with sofa, club chair and an additional tv. Very nice to have. The restaurant was excellent with happy hour Monday thru Friday with all appetizers half price. The pork chop was exceptionally delicious. Both Friday and Saturday they had live music which was enjoyable. Can't wait to return!

I should have asked
A person showed me the room and how to turn the TV on and left. I'm almost 80 and the room was on the 3rd floor (?) - top floor. That won't happen again.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The restaurant was a fun vibe with good food. The inn was beautiful and decorated nicely for Christmas. Our historic room was very nice with a canopy bed. It was clean and very comfortable. Our only complaint was that the room was over the bar and noisy. They did turn the music off at 9:30.

The bathroom was dirty which is unacceptable. The shower didn't work well. Staff were variable. I came in with bags and no one seemed to understand I was there because I had a reservation. Why else would I be there with bags?

From the moment we walked in we were greeted like family with a warm welcome! We were exhausted and starving when we arrived and we were met with all our needs. The food was delicious and felt like home cooked kitchen style and our room was cozy, warm and amenities were everything we needed! We will be back!

They had problems with plumbing, no hot water and no heat. In the morning, no breakfast was available on Sunday. Downstairs bar, restaurant and banquet room can be noisy until after 10pm.

Very old building built in the 1700s. Large parking area easy to access with many convenience stores in walking distance. Restaurant in building. Rooms are pretty modern. Staff is extremely nice, professional and friendly. They accommodate you in every way.

Rooms are by the event room and the guests would spill out into the corridor outside the rooms. Very noisy Rooms had no heat and management was unable to rectify, very cold Hot water was limited and took a long time to get. No elevator. For seniors a lot of steps

We had a short weekend trip to visit the area and the accommodations at the inn were above our expectations. They had very friendly staff, food was amazing at the restaurant, and location was ideal to get to where we wanted to go - visiting Vampa, a few village shops & hiking. Would highly recommend. Thanks
