This is the second time staying at the Boathouse. It’s an excellent hotel with amazing staff who remember you and the room number you are staying in. It only has 39 rooms so it has a unique boutique feel to it. The rooms are very comfortable, although parts of the bathroom were starting to look a little tired, but this didn’t affect the overall quality. The breakfast is amazing, you can order a little or as much as you want. We ate dinner here twice and although it is a little pricey it’s well worth it. The hotel is an oasis in what can be a very busy area, it’s walkable to many restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend it!

this was our 4th stay here - love the hotel and views. the head chef, Jonathan, was outstanding, went out of his way to accommadate us with some requests, loved his food. Ended up eating most nights at the restuarant.

Outstanding in every way. Wide variety of rooms so do your homework. Beach a little small but adequate. Same for pool. Only minor complaint we had problems with the bathtub spigot.

The property is under lot of renovation, and wasnt communicated with us prior to the visit. It was noisy during the day even by the pool side, construction all the time. Outside elevator hall also under construction, quite dangerous for guest to walk through. Inside room many thing broken, hair dryer was not working, there are no toilet paper in thr room. Overall not good experience.

From the moment we arrived we were extremely welcomed by the reception and this warmth kept all the way to our departure. Every single staff member was very kind, friendly, helpful, attentive and supportive all the time. I also would like to manifest a special thanks to 3 staff members: Daniele, Bee and Pepe. They were over and above our expectations, making us feel very special guests every day. To the Chef working on the night shift of 09/09/24: I was in bed sick, feeling extremely ill. Your promptness offer for a Chicken porrige soup (it is not on the menu), brought me "back to life"! I will never forget your kindness even not knowing you name... Thank you very much! I have to to comment on our stay at The Boathouse hotel. Not only were the accommodations beautiful, clean, and exactly as described. But, the staff was unbelievably kind and helpful to us. I got sick on my second day in Phuket (not from the hotel, but from a fruit smoothie in the local market). They not only asked about me every day, but they sent boiled rice and toast whenever we asked. Housekeeping was so accommodating with our schedule considering I was in the room sick the whole time. And, lastly, they let us stay extra hours on the day of our departure because I still wasn’t 100%. I cannot say enough, good things about our experience here, do not hesitate to book at the Boathouse hotel. You will not be disappointed!

Pleasant experience
Very friendly staff and the room was clean and quiet. The breakfasts were good as well. The location is really nice especially if you want to surf. Its right next to a surf school on the beach.

Not What I expected
Not what I expected. I came to the Boathouse Phuket by a recommendation of a friend but it didn’t leave to my expectations. Yes must admit location on the beach is great, pool is nice and front desk service was outstanding. But the restaurant service is Terrible, the bed is hard as wood, the rooms need renovation and there is simply no lobby and the restaurant inside seating is stuffy. So NO I would not recommend it for the price it is. You will get much better value in other beach hotels in Phuket.
