I heard about the crowded beaches in Phuket but I found myself with my family pretty much alone on the beautiful beach! The pools were lovely and my 5 year old just loved the slide! The room was gorgeous! I loved the bed in the window. The staff was so hospitable and helpful! I will definitely come back!

Great value for money
It was very good value for the price. We came when the place was being renovated, so a lot of the complex was shut. Staff very friendly. Got a lovely room on level 3. Be prepared to walk a small distance given the size of the property. Lots of great places to go too nearby via the beach.

This hotel is beautifully situated with great rooms. I couldn't get over the lack of mosquito netting, though, and tiny bugs hovered on the light near the top of the bed. It's risky to forgo mosquito netting here, and I had to leave the bathroom light on so the little bug(ger)s would be drawn to the bathroom overnight. Otherwise stunning location and beautiful grounds.

The SAii is a great option on Phuket Island. It’s located in a planned development called Laguna, five minutes down the road from Beach Avenue where there are dozens of restaurants, bars and shopping, including an awesome supermarket. Also professional massage places. The hotel itself is large and is on a beautiful beach (which hotel keeps clean), a large pool area, tons of activities etc. Some of the rooms overlook lagoon, which is really beautiful and quiet. The rooms have a patio or a covered porch and a great area lounge area in the room. A nice bathroom set up that opens to the room, with privacy glass WC. Lagoon wing involves walking to pool/restaurants. Several beach clubs and restaurants right next door. It is the rainy season so the waves were significant and the undercurrent substantial so don’t expect to swim in the ocean at this time of the year. Breakfast buffet is substantial. Overall, one of the best I’ve stayed at on the island and very well priced! Definitely recommend it.

Excellent resort
We stayed for a week on Half Board in a club room. Everything was great - we actually only left the resort twice to go down to the beach bars as there was a lot to enjoy on the resort. The tennis facility we used daily. There are renovations happening so there are only two places to eat, with one being more of a beach bar lunch vibe. The other restaurant we dined at each night had a good menu and food was very tasty. It was diverse enough that we didn’t get bored of it although we probably would have if we were there for any longer. The food and drink to purchase is very well priced, coming from Australia, and plentiful. The spa services are also well priced and nice although the only gripe I did have with the spa was that it was right below where renovations were happening so there was a lot of noise and it wasn’t relaxing. The club inclusions are amazing. We went to cocktail hour most nights and definitely made the most of it. The resort wasn’t too busy when we were there, always got a space at the pool. There was a good mix of families and couples. The room was modern, spacious and bright. The daybed is a great touch when you want to relax in the room but not on the main bed.
