The Best Part Was...
We REALLY enjoyed staying at "Modern Condo w Pool." The condo was perfect for us. The location was really convenient. Ken was an outstanding host-- easy to work with, great communication, purveyor of much useful local info. Best of all for us, was that my wife kept saying, "They've thought of EVERYTHING!" The condo was equipped with everything that we needed. Many thanks! Will definitely come back, if our travels bring us back to Phoenix.

Pro’s: The place is very welcoming. Condo has lots of windows with a nice view off the balcony. The kitchen is well equipped, except for large serving bowls. Plenty of towels, extra bed linens, pillows, spare shower gels, shampoos, and bars of soap. Walk-in closet is huge with plenty of hangers, 2 coolers, sun hats, games, even a bathrobe and slippers! Host is fantastic. Responded immediately anytime I texted him. Gave us great recommendations for nearby places of interest. The condo is one flight up and easy to access, with a full-sized pool and hot tub that you can walk to in under a minute. The parking space is covered from the elements. Cons (fairly minor): The bed frame is a little bouncy and creaky when you turn over. The pullout is tough to close and also a little squeaky. There are no table lamps, only overhead lights which are very bright. There aren’t enough utensils to last you until the dishwasher is full, which is a pain and wastes water. The complex itself does not recycle ANYTHING. Overall we were very happy with the condo and the host. I felt safe walking around both inside the complex and out. The grounds were well maintained and clean. Grocery stores and restaurants are very close by. A thumbs up.

My daughter and I were in town for a soccer tournament. The condo was very comfortable with a nice updated bathroom and comfortable beds. The sleeper couch had an amazing mattress. The gated complex felt very safe which was important to me as a woman traveling with daughter and very convenient to good hiking, restaurants, and entertainment. Owner stayed in good contact and had great recommendations. Would definitely stay there again.

We were in town for the World Baseball Classic at Chase Field; this property is only a ten minute walk from the light rail station that took us right to the stadium. The owner Ken is great, provided lots of little extras (snacks, cold drinks, coffee, etc). Property is exactly as described in the listing.

The condo was well stocked and comfortable. A great place to hang out in for the day or use as a landing pad after spending the day out. Lots of hiking and restaurants within 15-30 minutes. Ken was responsive and really helpful. The weather wasn’t awesome so we didn’t end up using the pool, so I don’t have any insight into the pool. Great stay!

Wonderful apartment in Phoenix
The apartment was very well-located, close to downtown yet easy access to main routes to Sedona, Camelback, Airport, Goldfield and more. It's very comfortable and very well outfitted, everything we needed was there and more, even a camel pack to have plenty of water while climbing Camelback and hiking the many wonderful trails in the area. The hot tub at the complex was a real treat, and we enjoyed it during the cool evenings. Ken is an outstanding host, very communicative, helpful, and thoughtful about guests' needs. Definitely a 5-star plus host, and property.

This was our first trip to Phoenix. Our host had thought of everything! Cold water, beer, snacks, bath products - you name it, it was covered. Ken was great at communicating, offered many suggestions on activities and places to eat. Condo was super comfy and spacious. We did go down to one of the pools, but it was extremely cold, so we didn't stay. We had an issue come up and Ken was very helpful, can't say the same about the Property Manager. If you're looking for a central place to stay to explore Phoenix, this is a great option. About 35 minutes to the Mesa airport, 30 minutes to Gila Area. Easy drive to Salt River and the Mountains for hiking. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall a disappointment
Ken was as good a host as one could ask for. The property itself is in an odd location, not a very nice area. The condo development as a whole is not well maintained. The jacuzzi at one of the pools was so filthy it was filled with algae, though Ken called that in and got it cleaned up by the next day. The pool areas overall aren't that nice. And on our last day the gates to both pools were inexplicably locked. There is no onsite property manager to help on weekends. So were unable to use either pool all day. Note that this is a condo, not a resort area. You're surrounded by people who live there year round. It's a loud place, so avoid it if you're looking for quiet. And some neighbor has a sound system with low-bass woofers that start playing at 6 a.m. Pack a light suitcase! There's no elevator to the 2nd floor!
