Ok I am not usually one to complain...and I stay in several hotels every year. I took my son here for a 6-night baseball tournament and 4 of us parents decided to book at this hotel for the boys to be together off the field The pool was suposed to be warm... but was ice cold untill out last night when they funally heated it to a mere luke warm. They couldnt swim and were constantly being yelled at for using the computers. The front counter guy worked 2 shifts at 20 hours each shift, obviuosly grumpy and sleep deprived. I asked Friday if I could get my room cleaned on Saturday. It was not cleaned. I then asked for the folllowing day (Sunday). Nope, i asked daily untill Wednesday when I demanded it (after 4 days of neglect)... Finally it was cleaned, and I was scheduled to leave the next day anyways. Terrible! i was even out of toilet paper the whole day Wednesday untill they finally sent someone up to clean my room... and he forgot to stock it... so I again had to call them back for toilet paper. YIKES

This is a lovely location. I love The Hyatt Place and each location that I have stayed. However, this time around not so much. I booked through a third party merchant only to find that the property manager may not approve a refund on an early check out. This property was paid in full when I booked almost two months ago. Things change and the level of flexibility should be offered to every customer that has an extensive situation. It’s unfortunate that this experience has dampened my relationship with The Hyatt Place. My only advice…is if you use a third party merchant, please make sure you book the dates that you truly need or else you will pay for a room that you’re not staying in. Be careful.

We stayed here for four nights. The staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean and nice when we arrived, but we never received maid service the entire stay. We didn’t say anything so shame on us! Probably my only real complaint was the breakfast. They ran out of food and coffee continually. They did refill but having to wait with many others was very annoying. They need to better account for how many guests the are accommodating and feeding. I would stay here again, with hopes they would fix this problem.

No maid service
We stayed Mon-Friday. Although we requested maid service 4 days in a row, we never received any, no maid service for the entire week. No refills on coffee, we had to request clean towels which we did get. All we got when we told them was, “I’m sorry, I’m let ‘them know” who’s them the room fairies? I thought by upgrading our hotel stay we would have better service. The room itself was nice, especially since we had to keep it picked up. I think we could have stayed Motel 6, being cheaper and probably better service.
