Friendly staff We were greeted by Kevin on arrival. Kevin was excellent, made us feel welcome. The kitchen staff was attentive. Breakfast is standard. 4 stars were for the dated decor of the inn.

So I booked this property after an internet search brought it up under pet friendly. When I arrived I was informed that the property was not pet friendly. NO pets. I advised the girl I would need to cancel my reservation. She never asked me for name or reservation number, nothing. I was marked as a no show and charged for 2 nights. When I called and spoke to the mgr, he said that the girl had been with them 18 years and he never had issues with her. His words were I was just a customer who was trying to get a refund. He said to go ahead and write a bad review as I was just one of those customers who just wanted to get my money back. He was rude and showed no sign of knowing how to negotiate. Lesson learned. The customer service at this location is non existent. We went down the street and got an awesome room and were treated with respect. Worse manager ever.

The breakfast was just pastries and cold sandwiches you heat up. Not really a nice breakfast. And the pool was old and falling apart/dirty. Rooms are nice. not worth how expensive it was for one night. We were also supposed to get a room with a view and it faced the parking lot.

I’ve stayed here before so it was an easy decision to stay again. Room was clean, bed and pillows comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with a nice walk-in shower. It would have been nice if the shower had a built in shelf where you could keep your toiletries but it did have shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Location is convenient, one block off Bell, many options for food and shopping nearby. Plenty of free parking, free wifi. Lots of construction workers stayed here during my visit. I only had the breakfast once, standard breakfast fare (scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, etc.), the coffee is good (not so much in the room, I brought my own coffee maker). I didn’t see a lot of homeless wandering around which made me feel safer as a solo traveler. Overall I would recommend staying here, would not hesitate to book here again.
