Unsanitary Property, poor communication
It was unsanitary and the property mgmt (AL) has poor communication and customer service. The bed was previously slept in and re-made: white animal hairs, black human hairs and bodily fluids in every layer of the bedding. Contacted AL immediately upon finding this at check-in. They offered another room for that night -- an additional inconvenience to us to move during our 2 nights. My wife offered that if AL brought clean bedding ASAP that evening, we’d change it and keep the room. Rep agreed and said the property manager would bring it that evening. Heard nothing further and returned home ~8/9pm to no new sheets, no explanations nor solutions. My wife is highly allergic to pet dander so we spent 30+ mins picking hairs out of the bed and used towels to cover the pillows and fluid stained areas. When we *finally* heard from the property manager late AM next day, we found out 1) he’s in Sedona, 2) there’s no housekeeping in the PM and 3) they wouldn’t compensate us for the 1st night as they’d “offered us a new room”. If we’d known we wouldn’t get new bedding and would forego any compensation, we would’ve moved. Bedding was finally changed by PM; the bare minimum. Owner still refuses to apologize nor compensate us, so we’re leaving a review to warn of their unsanitary practices. AL claims there’s not enough evidence: we’re healthcare professionals and sent 12+ photos of the hairs and fresh stains in the bedding. Absolute Luxury has poor treatment of their guests.
