Great location but poor experience.
The first red flag was the digital lock didn’t work. Every time we punched in the code it would flash red and beep. After two attempts we tried the door and thankfully it opened. The owner told us to simply push the lock button, which we did. It still flashed red and beeped at us. This was never fixed and we had to leave the condo unlocked when leaving. Not ideal.
The second red flag was the AC was off during record heatwave. The condo was 93F at 12:45AM when we arrived. It took all night to cool down. Not great sleep.
The third red flag was no toilet paper, no towels, no washcloths in the master bath or kitchen. Cabinets were empty. We also didn’t have paper towels, dishwashing or laundry soap and check out requires you to do dishes and laundry. I sent a message the next morning that there were no paper products—TP, Kleenex in the master bath. The owners response? We never provide Kleenex. Huh? I think you missed the point.
Cleaning was surface level only. Kitchen counters had food remnants from previous renter—dried up rice, onion paper. You could see wipe marks on surfaces in kitchen and bath. Living room rug had debris in it. If that’s the dirt we can see… yikes.
We found and folded the “missing” towels in the dryer. Checkout says to wash towels then sheets—towels were in the dryer and sheets were still on the bed. Were we were sleeping on dirty sheets? Most likely. The only laundry soap were empty bottles on the shelf.
