An amazing place to stay
This hotel was a wonderful place to stay. They have remodeled it and it is amazingly done. The room was fresh and clean and the beds were quite comfy. The staff was friendly and i will definitely stay here when i am in the area again.

This vibrant little motel is good for a short overnight but it could use better cleaning (I.e. I found a contact on the bathroom floor and I don’t use contacts). You definitely need a car to get around. Lastly, it would be much more enjoyable if they didn’t use a heavy deodorizer because you can’t open the windows to clear the air.

The room and bedding were clean and comfortable. But the building seems old. The door lock swing bar was broken but still worked; should have been replaced. Towels but no other amenities in the bathroom - no soap, no shampoo. I could tell that back in the day when people could smoke in hotel rooms, they did in the room I got. Staff were very nice.

Head of the Schuylkill
It was wonderful. Located just outside of Philadelphia it was perfectly located for the Head of the Schuylkill but in a quiet residential neighborhood. The decorating style is fun and wild with full use of 1970's planter themes with wood accents, feux marble and plastic aquarium plants. The room was very large with a kitchenette and large bathroom. It was perfect for our stay and reasonably priced.
