Had a wonderful time at the Marriot Downtown Philadelphia! My room was huge and the location was so close to so many activities. There were plenty of convenient shops and places to grab a snack. Would definitely come back again!

The check-in took well over an hour. They were hosting a conference and totally unprepared for the number of people who would need to be checking in on the night before the conference started - totally understaffed. Then the room key situation was a total fiasco. They are in the middle of switching the lock system and the front desk is apparently unaware of which rooms have been modified. I had to walk to and from my room (it was a very long distance) at least 4 times because the room keys didn't work over and over. the hotel itself is very nice but the management needs to be sorted out.

Terrible check in experience. Super long check in line for the gold elite members with only one desk attendant, no water bottle were offered, no coffee nor tea offered at the lobby for elite members, no free breakfast. Plain and not a good experience staying here. No perks at all for elite members might as well stay somewhere else

Property was really nice for the location and price. Very big, very busy. Room was clean, tv nice and big, bed and pillows comfy although two queens instead of fulls would have been better. Loved the view from the 23rd floor, front desk team was attentive and kind. Order at the bar tables at Circ took too long.

I was locked out of my room. We initially thought it was the key card only to find out the battery on the door didn’t work. Three security cards tried and the engineer on duty was refusing to come assist saying they new as much as he did to fix it. We were given another room but all belongs were in the room. After security pleaded with the engineer and supervisor being involved and an hour and a half later we finally got our things. This was late evening after a long dat. Watching this take olace and listening was a disappointment and was not whay I would expect from the Marriott. I was not happy at all and it took me the rest if the night to relax before my flight this morning. They had no resolution process in place, and our ask of what was next and expectations was the only thing that kept the sense of urgency for the guest a top priority.

The website states they have Limited onsite Parking, but when we got there we were told they only had Valet Parking, So we had to frantically look for a place to park. I think the website should be updated to say they only have Valet parking.
