Clean and Spacious
The unit is clean and roomy with a large open center kitchen/dining area/living room and two good sized bedrooms. The only views were of the vacant lot and another building, so we kept the curtains closed. The tv worked fine once we figured out how to operate the streaming services. Leaving folks some instructions seems like a good idea. And the frig's ice maker dither didn't work or wasn't connected so no ice.

No communication and unexpected fees
The apartment was clean and as described/shown in pictures. Towels, wash clothes, shampoo/conditioner/soap were all provided which was really nice. We had a good parking spot out back of the property, however there were a few homeless people living near our vehicle and the smell of urine and feces was overwhelming. Also, the amount of garbage we had to walk around to get into the property was mind blowing. However, overall my biggest complaint is that after I initially reserved the property, I asked the host if I could check in early between 1pm-2pm as we were coming in from a ways away and had a concert to go to. Gladys advised me that the earliest check in possible was 3pm, but to message them as the date approached and we could see if 2pm was possible. I messaged Gladys 3 days before the day of our stay, the night before, and the day of our check in with no response until about 2pm stating our condo was ready...at this point, we already delayed our departure time as we did not know if we could check in early. No communication cost us time on our vacation. Also, the advertised fee for the rental is a lot lower than you will be paying. It started at under $200 per night and by the end of all the fees and additional charges, it was $400 for one night for my group of 4. I believe it was from an additional “person charge” and cleaning fee. Again, nice condo, but horrible communication.

Nice place in a “not so nice” neighborhood
The apartment was lovely and roomy. Beds were comfortable and full kitchen with a nice washer and dryer was very convenient. It’s in North Philadelphia in a very shady and somewhat “sketchy” part of town. We felt uncomfortable where we had to park our car and while walking back into the building at the end of the day. It was our 1st time in Philly,, parking is a little shady, had to park a block away in the alley, location is not attractive, I liked 2 bathrooms, washer/Dryer, furniture is dated and damaged, looks like cigarette burns on nightstands and dressers, couch was dated and uncomfortable. it stated it sleeps 6, couch was not a pull-out, I guess air mattress was other bed. its an ok place for the price. building is quiet inside, outside a little scary. Host was great, furniture needs to be replaced and updated.

Just what we needed
We rented this apartment for our daughter's graduation from Temple University. It was exactly what we needed -- comfortable, plenty of space, good amenities, and about a 15 minute walk from campus!
