Property was impeccably maintained, staff was professional and courteous. The continental breakfast and evening social was a great addition to an already pleasant hotel atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again when coming to Philadelphia. 10 out of 10 recommend.

This cute boutique hotel is located in the heart of center City Philadelphia. Like everything else in center City, it's old but it's clean and the staff is super friendly. For my purposes it was incredibly conveniently located.

This was a wonderful and ecletic place to stay. It close to Broad St. and the neighborhood had plenty of shops and restaurants. There was even a corner shop just across the street from the hotel.

Old hotel in good neighborhood. Room was very dated, thought I was in the 70s or 80s. No updates. Street noise loud, stayed on a Friday night. Nightclubs close by. No heat control in room that I could find. Separate A/C unit in exterior wall. Breakfast OK. Would not return.

The Alexander is a very cute boutique hotel with lots of character and charm. They offer a social hour with drinks and snacks included in your stay. Our dogs were greeted with drinking water and treats and everything was very clean. We loved it and would definitely recommend it to friends in the future.
