Great family weekend in Petaluma
The house and property were spacious and beautiful. A few things could have been improved, though. The theater only had 3 very large chairs in front of the screen and a small couch on the side, which really didn't allow for more than 3 people to use the room. Smaller chairs and a better seating arrangement would have made more sense. It was also disappointing that the front door didn't work and towels for the pool weren't included, so we had to bring our own. Regardless, we still had a wonderful time.

Perfect Family 'Resort'
My family and I just celebrated my mom's milestone birthday at this property and the experience overall couldn't have been more perfect. First of all, if you think the photos are beautiful you'll be pleasantly surprised to know that the home is even more beautiful in person. The gardens are carefully manicured and structure/furnishings of the house top quality overall. There aren't a lot of things that family members varying in ages can enjoy together but between the pool (w/ waterslide!), elegant dining areas (both indoor/outdoor), and recreational activities such as movie viewing room, tennis court (where we played pickleball) and basketball court, there's something for everyone. Our weekend experience was incomparable...had we stayed at a hotel resort we would've been isolated in our own rooms and had meals in public areas whereas this way we bought our own groceries and had every meal together in our private 'home.' Oh and the views of the sunset are divine. I guess I don't really have the words to share how awesome this home is, and Lori was very helpful in coordinating our stay. I hope you're able to enjoy as we did!

Fun Family House
This was our second time in the home with our family (ages 5-75). There is something to do for everyone! Swimming, basketball, tennis, comfy sofa with an enormous TV and movie room! The home was clean, the beds were comfortable ( the master bedroom is a dream!). The home was very spacious for our group of 12. Downtown Sonoma is about a 15 minute drive. We felt very safe and it was very quiet. The slide was the main attraction for the kids ( and adults!). Solar was just added to the home too! If I had to find one thing to improve, it would be the outdoor furniture by the pool area- there are 3 older lounges with cushions that don't fit, and for a house of 12 we needed to bring our own camping chairs, but it was still worth it! We had a memorable time! Lori, the owner and manager, was incredibly communicative and very friendly and helpful through the whole process!

Best Vacation House for Family Reunion!
The property is gorgeous with the best views! Beautiful area and beautiful house. We had children of all different ages and they all enjoyed all the activities at the property. We were able to comfortably fit 4 different families over the holidays. The kitchen is fully stocked and we were able to cook a full Christmas dinner! Can't wait to go back! Denise was so responsive and took care of all of our needs!

Best water slide ever, beautiful outdoor space, beware extra costs
This property has a stunning and fun outdoor space- honestly, both kids and adults agree that it's the best water slide ever. We took full advantage of the tennis court too, and the outdoor relaxing, cooking, and nighttime fireside setting is just gorgeous. But as previous reviewers mentioned: don't expect to get your full deposit back. VRBO fees will be taken from it. And also beware that you will be charged for any pool heating. This is clearly outlined in the contract and website, however, we knew this and we DID NOT intend to heat the pool, and DID NOT intentionally turn the heater on, but somehow were charged. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR POOL/SLIDE OPERATION CAREFULLY and make sure the heater isn't on when you arrive if you care about this. Aside from that, it's a spectacular holiday experience and we hope to go back.

Wonderful Week
We loved staying at this property. The surroundings are beautiful and the house is comfortable with lots of room. We all loved the pool and hot tub- the slide was a big hit for everybody and the number of towels provided was really appreciated. The BBQ on the deck was perfect and the view in the evening is pastoral - so relaxing. The kids really enjoyed the big screen movie room with perfect lounge chairs. The property manager, Denise, was perfect - always there to help in any way through our week's stay. Thank you!

We had a great time because the property had a variety of options to entertain our group. It allowed us to have great bonding time. The water slide, pool, and tennis court were our favorites. Denise was very helpful and responsive during our stay. She responded to late evening texts when we needed assistance with some of the gadgets and controls in the house. The only bothersome issue was that a portion of the damage deposit was withheld for additional VRBO processing fees. While listed generically in the rental agreement as service/convenience fees, it was not communicated ahead of time what items would fall into this category or that it would be deducted from the damage deposit. We also were not aware the pool was being heated until after our stay but we appreciated Denise trying to ensure the pool was at a comfortable temperature. Overall, we would just have appreciated more upfront and transparent communication about the additional fees.

Excellent House, good host
House listing and location speak for themselves. Very well maintained and worked out very well for us. Would absolutely return to this rental. The only issue I had was a fee that was not clearly stated ahead of time which caused a bit of irritation but it's not substantial and clearly not enough for me to not highly recommend this place.

Wonderful staycation
We had such a fabulous time at this property. We had children ranging in ages 2-13 and they all had such a wonderful time. Horses to watch, fun in the game room, and THAT SLIDE! Denise is a great communicator and so easy to work with. Will definitely book again and highly recommend.
