Attending a function in Perth this week, we stayed at the Ibis Hotel on Murray, as we usually do. In our room we encountered 3 examples of poor maintenance. 1) the shower drain was blocked and very slow to drain, 2) the inner bathroom door handle was broken, i.e., door could not be opened, in which case one could become trapped inside, and 3) the bar fridge had turned into a "deep freeze," i.e., the milk for coffee was frozen! All of these items are indicative of poor maintenance, below usual Ibis standard and should be attended to.

I have been to this hotel a few times. It is always clean and quiet. The rooms are a good size, the desk is really handy and the mattress is comfortable. The check-ins are seamless and simple. And the hotel is close to everything in the city: shopping, bars, restaurants and public transport. Really good value.
