Traditional Stone Village Apartment With Balcony

The self contained apartment is part of a sympathetically restored traditional stone building, located on a quiet road on the outskirts of Pentakomo village square.

The balcony has unrestricted views of the Troodos mountains across the fields of carob and olive trees, sunshine for most of the day followed by stunning evening sunsets.

The villagers are very friendly and the square has a supermarket, butcher, coffee shop/taverna. There are two other traditional tavernas within walking distance, all serving Cypriot dishes.

Pentakomo is an exceptionally well located village for independent travellers who want to enjoy authentic Cypriot village life. It is also an excellent base from which to explore the entire island.

For nature lovers and bird watchers, the balcony is a great place to observe many of the migratory birds that pass through Cyprus, including the inquisitive Swifts and beautiful Bee Eaters.

The stunning cliffs and fish restaurants at Agios Giorgos are within 5 minutes drive, and a wide selection of other restaurants and beaches are nearby.

Limassol, Larnaca and many local historic attractions are within easy reach, including the Kalavassos Tenta (5 mins), UNESCO World Heritage site of Choirokoitia (10 mins) and the ancient ruins of Amathus (10 mins).

Really lovely stay in a traditional village with beautiful mountain views, within easy drive of plen
We stayed in Pentakomo at Julie's apartment in Jan/Feb 2019. Julie welcomed us to the apartment and told us everything we needed to know about the facilities and restaurants nearby. There are 2 tavernas in the village, 1 was closed for winter so we ate at the Dragons Nest which was really good food! Highly recommend their Greek meze and very good value at €40 for 2 including beers. The apartment had everything we could need for a 5 day stay including all kitchen equipment for lunches and heater, even playing cards, dominoes and books to read! We really wished we could have stayed longer! The views from the property were beautiful, morning and evening! And the donkey in the field opposite was lovely to hear once or twice a day when he got fed! Pentakomo was just 5-10 minutes off the highway with easy access to larnaka Limassol and Nicosia- all of which we travelled to within our 4 night stay. There are beachside restaurants just into Limassol which were approximately a 15 minute drive away - Malindi beach bar was lovely for a slightly more expensive beach side dinner and cocktails. We would highly recommend Julie's apartment and the stay in Pentakomo for anyone looking for a quiet break with easy access to the busier tourist areas. We hope to be back at some point! 2 Wochen in einem sehr schönen Ap.artment mitten in einem alten Dorf mit sehr guter Verkehrsanbindung nach Limassol und Larnaka. Ganz in der Nähe eine schöne felsige Küste mit Bademöglichkeit. (Ist nicht ausgeschildert, am Abzweig Argios georgioa Allemanos bis zum Strand fahren) Wir waren mit Unterkunft und Organisation sehr zufrieden und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen

Super nice hide-away in low pace village
We had a very relaxed couple of days in Pentakomo, a village with only few tourists, & located neatly for day trips to the mountains and the South beaches. The taverns are great. The apartment is lovely and Julie a great host. It is located in the upper floor of her house, but with a small private terrace with a terrific view. There is another flat next to it, in case its occupied you will find its tenants passing through your terrace at times (however, it has no seating on the terrace so we didn't find it too bothering). Overall, we totally recommend this place and would definitely visit again when in Cyprus.

Alles sehr schön, bis auf ..... aber trotzdem zu empfehlen.
Hallo, wir waren für 2 Wochen in der Fewo. Der Aufenthalt hat uns gut gefallen, die Fewo ist gemütlich auf niedrigem Standard eingerichtet. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns die Zeit über auf Zypern sehr wohl gefühlt. Negativ: die Dusche müsste mal überholt werden, da der Wasserstrahl sehr schwach ist. Und ein Foto mit der Aussicht auf die Telegraphenmasten von der Terrasse müsste ergänzt werden. Tut mir leid, aber deshalb nur 3 Sterne.

Tout est conforme à la description des lieux avec des plus...
L'appartement est bien conçu, bien équipé, bien entretenu, bien agencé et décoré avec goût. On sent la patte de l'artiste tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur et aux abords de la maison. Nous avons aprécié l'accueil de Julie et Phil, leurs attentions et aussi de trouver une cuisine avec ce qu'il faut pour le petit déjeuner, la cuisine et la vaisselle. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir et conseillerons cette location à nos amis de Chypre et d'ailleurs. La plage d'Agios Yiorgos toute proche est magnifique, Limassol toute proche et la vue du balcon l'appartement à couper le souffle. La taverne Iris au haut du village est une bonne adresse.
