I had such high hopes for this place but it was a dirty mess. The place was filthy and all kinds of bugs from ants to roaches could be found everywhere. The outside was unkempt with garbage in the surrounding bushes and broken screen and moldy porch furniture. We paid over $3500 for the week and it was a disaster. On the last night our bedroom ceiling was leaking water and cockroaches and water bugs were found in bathrooms and ceilings. Also the thermostat did not work so we were freezing the whole stay. I could go on and on but I think u get the picture.

We have stayed at this resort on several occasions and have been impressed. Unfortunately this trip was utterly disappointing. First, the rental I booked was available on the site and let me book it, but then I received an email saying that unit was rented and we were switched to a different one. Then I waited in line for 2 hours to check in after being in a car for 10 hours and then our unit was filthy. Sticky counters, urine on the base of the toilet, mold in the shower and after walking around barefoot for a couple of hours my feet were absolutely BLACK! Had to constantly wear shoes and socks the remainder of the trip. Probably my last stay with LBGR.
