After 10 years living in pattaya City. Still use only this particular hotel every time visiting pattaya City. Can't go wrong with location and service and overall its 10/10 for the money

This hotel is a four star not 5, although it is nice, the breakfast was very basic and not really catered well for english but then again it is in thailand so i guess you cant really moan at that. The reception staff were excellent and extremely helpful but the staff in the roof bar were very slow and it took ten mins just to get a drink despite being relatively quiet. Food on the roof top was nice but expect to wait fourty mins for it. I would definitely stay there again despite its little downfalls.

A decent if slightly tired hotel.
Positives: 1. Pratumnak is away from the mayhem of Pattaya but close enough to get there if that’s for you. Nice quiet area, good restaurants and cafes. 2. Located very close (1 min) to the beach (and it’s a nice beach). 3. Rooftop pool area is good, pool though not large is big enough and always beds available. 4. Beautiful Yamaha Baby Grand in lobby and nice aquariums (2) with small sharks swimming during breakfast. Negatives: 1. The hotel is VERY tired and in need of refurbishment. Almost moved inside an hour of being in the room. Not 5 star, probably struggles for 4 stars. For example, constant problems with the lifts not working, decor in rooms is old, bathroom fittings worn and a few chipped tiles etc….Just felt all a bit tired. 2. Breakfast - standard omelette took 20 mins to cook! Was tasty but 20 mins??!! 2nd day went out for breakfast locally (much better). Sea view? Erm…well yep from the pool. From the rooms it’s miles off and across some ugly barren ground first. (3) 1000thb deposit taken against your plastic room key!!!! Not that you’d keep it but what a cheap “trick”. Very silly. Close enough to walk or short Bolt to Jomtien. Good bars locally though better in Jomtien. Overall - very average - much better options locally.

You get what you pay for with this hotel. The location is perfect and about 5 minutes of leisurely walk to the beach. The hotel room on the contrary is quite dirty though and smells like they are masking mold with cologne. I was going to rate this stay with 3 stars even with the room being like such but, there is this bell boy there that made our stay very annoying. He kept offering transportation/ tours and was very pushy about it even after being told NO many times. Although the people at the front desk were very professional and nice, our stay was ruined because of this bell boy.
