My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely rent again if we return to Park City. Being on the ground floor, neighbor noise at the condo was suprisingly minimal and only that of the usual-type (ski boots stomping up the stairs outside every once and again, washer/drying running upstairs...). The gas fireplace and heating system was sufficient until it got down to -12°F 🥶 outside for 2 nights and 0°F one of the days but luckily it hovered in the 20's the majority of our days. Keeping the shades/curtains closed helped a lot. One suggestion to the owner would be to add weather stripping around the front door as we could see daylight (cold air) coming in when the door was closed and locked.
We are a family of 4, with two kids ages 10 and 12. The king bed in the bedroom was comfy and great. The pullout couch, which the owner said was recently purchased so it's not the same couch pictured, was perfect for our two kids. It's a trundle-style where the bottom bed slides out, rather than folds out. It was on the firmer
side but definitely more comfy than any fold-out that we've experienced in other rentals. The pull-out, in my opinion, would be a tight squeeze for an adult to sleep on (unless petite) only because it doesn't fully pull out to an actual twin-size bed. It's a little narrower.
The kitchen was stocked with all the basics (pots, pans, cooking utensils, dinnerware, silverware, seasonings, plastic bags, foil, sugar, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher tabs, etc.) and met our needs (except that there was not a rubber/silicone spatula. How does one make scrambled eggs--and actually retrieve all the cooked egg from the pan--without a rubber spatula? 🤷😆). There is a Keurig coffee maker.
The washer/dryer is a combo unit for small loads only and takes high-effeciency (he) detergent and *liquid* fabric softener (not included so pack your own).
The bathroom has a heat lamp (woohoo!) so getting out of the hot shower was not a death wish. Hot water was plenty even when all 4 of us had to get cleaned up simultaneously. Note that 3 of us take fairly quick (5-6 min) showers and 1 only fills the tub with 4 inches of water for his bath.
The condo is located just down from Park City Mountain Resort. It was a 1-2 minute drive or 5 minute walk to the free Cabriolet gondola that takes you up to the resort where there are restaurants, bars, coffee/candy shop, & ski rentals which anyone can access, not just resort guests.
