Spacious and bright apartment of 75m2 on the first floor (with lift) of a high-quality residential building (very calm, entry with gate and doors secured by codes and a caretaker living on the ground floor of the building).

The 3-room apartment is ideal for 4 to 6 persons. It has a big living/ dining- area with open kitchen and the bedrooms are located on the backside of the building (particularly calm). The apartment is built as follows:
- 1 bedroom with double bed + desk + balcony
- 1 bedroom with 2 single beds
- 1 spacious living/dining room with a big sofa bed (big enough for 2 adults + one baby/toddler)
- 1 bathroom with bathtub (ideal for small children)
- 1 separate toilet
- A laundry room with washing machine and dryer

Great location and sizeable apartment
Great location. We had a marvellous time. Walking distance (for the fit) to many attractions and a very short walk ti metro for those needing a break from walking. Convenient shop just downstairs. Warm place with radiator heating. The apartment was big for the location. Host was very friendly and helpful when requesting an early check in.

A Spacious, Comfortable Apartment in an Interesting Neighborhood
My adult son and I had a lovely stay. The apartment is unusually spacious for Paris, with plenty of room to spread out--it would suit two or three friends as well as a family. It is also unusually quiet, despite being on a main thoroughfare, which my son especially appreciated since he had to work for several hours each day (WiFi connection is excellent). The apartment is very well equipped (I did contribute a tea towel to the kitchen because there were none). The only downside for me was that the bed in the children's room, where I slept, was very uncomfortable for an older, arthritic person (I gave the lovely master bedroom to my son because he's so much bigger than I am). The neighborhood is the opposite of touristy, which makes it interesting in another way--there are lots of local restaurants and cafes nearby, everything from Breton specialities to Kurdish durum to Tibetan momos, and a superb market (Marche d'Aligre), which you must visit even if you don't plan to cook much: it's a feast for the eyes, too. Public transportation (bus, metro) is nearby and convenient for visiting the more touristic parts of the city. We were warmly welcomed by the manager, who lives in the building and so is available if any problems arise. A perfect place to stay in a vibrant Parisian neighborhood.

Large quiet apartment, convenient neighborhood
Stayed 4 nights with family of 5. Plenty of room. Kitchen was great and grocery store was directly downstairs. 2 convenient metro stops within 5-10 min walk and stop for bus 86 to Eiffel Tower is across the street. Paris was rainy that week, but the apartment was great and a little better than the pictures

Perfect for our Family
Great location! Short walk to the metro, which was important for traveling with little feet. The flat was perfect! Our kids really appreciated having toys and it felt like home right away. Our six year old said good-bye to our Paris house when we left this morning. Thank you for a great stay.

Spacious apartment
My two adult daughters and I enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was clean and well furnished. Very safe, as it is in a gated courtyard, with two additional locked doors before access to your apartment. The listing is very accurate, the kitchen very well stocked. A very spacious apartment, a much better value for the money if you are willing to stay a bit outside the center of old Paris. Convenient to bus and Metro stops. We would stay here again when in Paris.

Perfect Apartment for Family
This was a great apartment for a family (2 small kids) trip to Paris. We had a good amount of space, toys, and a kitchen that allowed us to cook and eat at the apartment. We used transportation to get around the entire trip and it was as quick walk to the Nation subway stop. Only issues were delayed response from property manager prior to check in but overall a really good stay, would recommend. Shane

Great place to stay
We stayed there this past week and loved our stay there! There were 4 adults in our party and there was ample room without seeming cramped or on top of one another! It is actually quite spacious for a Paris accommodation! There is plenty of closet space! For those with kids the owner has provided plenty of books and games for the entire family! The refrigerator is American size! All of appliances worked great! There is a supermarket right next store which made things really convenient for getting groceries! It is a good neighborhood with several good restaurants within easy walking distance. Our favorite by far was La Poulet en Grain that is right across the street from the building! Great meals with reasonable prices. We ate there twice in the week. There is a metro stop about a block away but the Nation metro station is about 4 blocks away which has metro lines that are more convenient for major sites and an RER A line which takes you to Disneyland Paris! On suggestion for improvement would be instructions for operating the European appliances for non- Europeans. There is a washer/dryer combo but we had to guess in how to use it. It worked but having instructions would have helped. We never did figure out the television but the internet was fantastic! Overall, we would highly recommend this property! Jean-Jacques was a great host!

Paris is Divine!
The apartment was the perfect setting for our first trip to Paris. The location had the convenience of a grocery store a few steps away, a local cafe on each corner, and one block from the Metro. My wife and I, and 2 adult children were more than comfortable in this 2 bedroom flat with many windows and great natural light. Bonjour!

We were generally pleased with our accommodations. It is safe, secure, clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with good water pressure and hot water. It worked out well for two couples.We had some difficulty getting a response from the owner before arriving in Paris, but it all worked out eventually.

Spacious, bright, secure apartment
We really enjoyed our recent trip to Paris and our stay at this apartment. The first thing you notice is how secure the apartment is. You enter through a large locked gate and two sets of locked doors before you enter the apartment building. You go up one flight of stairs and you are at the apartment. There is a lift if you need it. The apartment is bright with big windows in the living room/kitchen that allow much light and fresh air. The bedrooms have windows that open as well. There is a lovely cross breeze that moves from the front of the apartment to the bedrooms at the back of the unit. The apartment had a great kitchen with a full size refrigerator, oven and stove, microwave, dishwasher, pots/pans, dishes, cutlery and other cooking amenities. The main bedroom has a double/queen size mattress with bedside tables on either side of the bed. It also has a small walk out that also has a clothesline. The second bedroom has two twin/single beds that can be left apart or put together. There are bedside tables on either side and a window that opens up, but does not walk out to the small balcony. The bathroom has a shower with good water pressure. The toilet is in a separate room. The living room has a pull out couch with a double/queen size mattress. The kitchen has a rectangular dining table with 6 chairs. There is a washer/dryer combination unit. The wifi is fast and there is a TV. The apartment is on a main street with quick metro access, lots of shopping and restaurants/pubs/bistros. There is a Carrefour grocery store right next door which is super handy. The apartment is located about half way between La Bastille and Place de la Nation. We did some great shopping on the street closer to Bastille, some well-known retail stores and other unique shops. Overall, it was a great apartment and we would recommend it to anyone!

Appartement ample, propre, et bien orienté. Metro très proche and supermarché carrefour en bas de l'immeuble. Cuisine bien équipée et four facile a utiliser. Salle de bain excellente. Wifi et television parfait. Monsieur Cardinaux est très agréable and ouvert. Nous recommendons vivement cet appartement. ----------------------------------------- Ample apartment, clean, and well oriented. Metro very close and supermarket (carrefour city) just below the building. The kitchen is well equipped and the oven is easy to use. Excellent bathroom. The wifi and tv were perfect. Mr. Cardinaux is agreeable and very approachable. We highly recommend this apartment.

Große Enttäuschung!
Wir hatten das Objekt aufgrund der guten Lage und der ansprechenden Fotos für 5 Nächte gebucht. Zu unserem Entsetzen mussten wir bei unserer Ankunft feststellen, dass das gesamte Gebäude wegen umfangreicher Renovierungsarbeiten eingerüstet war. Mit der Folge, dass wir die Gardinen im Wohnzimmer und der Küche immer geschlossen halten mussten, da ansonsten die Bauarbeiter auf dem Gerüst freien Blick in die Wohnung hatten. Tagsüber wurde geklopft und gehämmert, was einen Aufenthalt tagsüber quasi unmöglich machte. Darüber hinaus hatte sich eine dicke Baustaubschicht in der ganzen Wohnung verteilt mit der Folge, dass wir allergische Reaktionen in Kauf nehmen mussten. Im Übrigen ist die Wohnung in einem erbärmlichen Zustand und müsste dringend renoviert werden. Das Mobiliar ist alt und von niedriger Qualität und an vielen Stellen beschädigt. Auch der Pflegezustand ist schlichtweg schlecht. Unsere Hoffnung die vorhandene Garage nutzen zu können, hatte sich wegen der Baumaßnahmen auch als falsch erwiesen. Besonders enttäuschend ist die Tatsache, dass wir auf diese Umstände vom Vermieter im Vorfeld nicht aufmerksam gemacht wurden, sondern bei Ankunft vor vollendete Tatsachen gestellt wurden. Wären wir vorab informiert worden, hätten wir die Wohnung niemals angemietet. Das einzige Positive ist die Lage der Wohnung, die unter normalen Umständen sicherlich ein großer Vorteil für eine Parisreise wäre. Der Vermieter hat uns eine von uns Kompensation zugesagt. Wir sind gespannt...!!

Very quiet and clean appartement in a really nice neighbourhood. The second bedroom had 2 beds one had a pull out bed underneath but there was not much space to put it.
