Very quiet 26 m2 studio in an old Paris building with two paved yards, far from the street.
The flat is located in a second yard, which is one level above the street; this supposes to go up 15 steps.
There is a small kitchen, which can be closed, and a small bathroom.
Many cupboards.
A double bed is offered, which can be completed by a single bed, usually used as a sofa, for a child for instance.
In summertime, this flat is quite pleasant as a private and flowered 12 m2 terrace allows you to have a meal outside.
It is located close to all shops and public transport(underground and bus connected to Bastille and the centre of Paris, Velib bicycle station).
We can eventually leave our car park if you need it, which is 5' walk away.

perfect short stay
The appartment suited our needs perfectly. It was hidden away and allowed us to retreat at the end of a busy day. Véronique was really welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful with her instuctions and advice about the area. We would recommend the property. it suited our tastes and needs well. There were basics in the kitchen and shower which were to be replaced as used which is a welcome addition when travelling light. Although we didn't use the outside space we would have done had we stayed longer.

Small studio review
First off, we had the opportunity to meet and talk with the owner. She lives next door and is a lovely lady who speaks excellent English. She was responsive and helpful. Additionally, the studio is quite close to the metro station, giving you easy access to most of Paris. All that said, we would probably not choose to stay here again. Most sights were 40 or more minutes away by metro. The area was much more urban than we had anticipated. We never felt unsafe there and there are great bakeries and restaurants nearby, but it wasn’t an attractive area of Paris. The studio was very hot. There is no air conditioning, and no way to open a window. I often smelled a powerful musty smell (similar to a damp basement) when walking into the apartment. The listing states a spa / hot tub? We did not see this at all. There is no tub - only a shower.

A lovely hide-away in Paris
We stayed 4 nights here. This apartment is perfectly located to the Metro so you can easily explore the city. Paris is a busy and noisy place and this apartment is ideal for those who want to retreat at the end of a day of sightseeing and have a peaceful sleep.

Serene Sanctuary
I stayed in Véronique’s flat by myself for 4 days. I wish it could have been longer. All day I had the radio on, reading and drawing. The flat is bright and warmly lit with a private terrace. It is located close to Père-Lachaise cemetery (the best club in Paris) as well as many cafes and bars - and the metro right next door so easy to get anywhere. Véronique is so sweet and welcoming. Recommend !

Perfect Paris Place
You step off a busy street and are transported into a peaceful courtyard with beautiful plants and decor. The flat was perfect for our visit to Paris. Veronique was a gracious host and provided a lot of great recommendations for food and activities. If we have the opportunity to come back we would choose to stay here again.

Perfect French studio
If you want a quintessential French experience then this is for you. Set in a quiet courtyard off a busy street it is a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Charming host with the option of safe off street parking. We loved it.

Beautiful welcome to Old Paris
I stayed here with my two teenagers. Veronique communicated clearly and consistently prior to and during our stay, and she and her husband were both kind and gracious. The information provided regarding the flat and area attractions was clear and helpful. Veronique truly goes the extra mile to ensure that guests have anything they need. Wonderful cozy flat with perfect terrace!
This flat was perfect for my visit to family that recently moved nearby! The neighborhood is great. Perfect getaway in Paris
I really enjoyed my time in this space. It is in a lovely location. The garden terrace is perfect for sitting out and enjoying breakfast or a glass of wine. Veronique was a great host, very communicative. Definitely recommend!

Host was very friendly and the apartment was comfortable and charming with an outdoor space that was a great spot for having breakfast. It’s fairly far away from the city centre, but we found the public transportation to be very easy to use.

A small and tidy studio space in a quiet enclave, steps away from a bustling street with butchers, bakers—alas, no candlestick makers, but two grocery stores, a flower shop, a garden store, bookstore, cafes, etc. It’s a lively neighborhood with bus and subway virtually at your doorstep. Caveat: You’ll have to navigate a narrow hallway and two short runs of stairs to reach this little hideaway, and the kitchen is tiny. But it’s only a 2-minute round trip to get your oven-fresh morning baguette, and I accepted the kitchen challenge and managed a sublime osso bucco. I’m a solo traveler in my 70s, and this 6-day visit suited me perfectly. The owners, Véronique and Frederic, are charming and accommodating.

I would want to keep this jewel as a secret since it's my new Paris pied a terre, but in the interests of supporting Veronique, I'll share that this is the most quiet, peaceful and perfect studio in Paris. This little apartment was a very pleasant, cozy, and private. It had a little private garden/patio outside that looked so inviting thru the front windows - unfortunately it rained during our stay so we couldn’t use it. The kitchen nook had all that we needed. We appreciated a nice drip coffee maker. We also appreciated the electric heated towel rack/dryer so we had dry towels for the next shower! The bed is a futon-like style but was quite comfortable and supportive. No problems with my back, which is great! Véronique and her husband are wonderful hosts and very helpful. We enjoyed meeting them.
