One of the worst hotels in Paris
Had an insect infestation in the room and ended up been severely bitten. Staff not interested in the slightest. Would rather sleep on the street than ever go back

Very different from the photo. Dirty kettle and tea spon. Cute but small space in bathroom and room. Often bump into TV and washing bowl. Front service personnel is very kind.

The room that Expedia showed me and charged me for was completely different than what I was given. It was impossible to stay due to smell and the overall condition the room. The front desk was first rude, and refused to cancel my reservation, said the “picture is not their problem but Expedia’s. He eventually accepted to give me another room which was on the 7th floor and was not accessible by elevator that stops at 6th floor. Overall not happy but we didn't have a choice since the hotel didn’t cancel the reservation.

It was very cool that this was once Oscar Wilde’s home! Our room was extremely small for two people and the bathroom was also very small but had what we needed: a toilet (men should sit down at all times!), a shower and very small sink. If you are over 60 years, like us, pay the extra money for a bigger room if one is available. We experienced people getting in late at night and you hear everything! The staff were very helpful and kind. Breakfast was very basic but the server was lovely and attentive. We dined twice at Villa Donnelli, a one minute walk from the hotel. The food was fantastic with excellent service but don’t order decaffeinated coffee as it is not decaffeinated. We walked a lot, The Louvre is not too far and definitely a must.
