Never ever stay in this hotel. The elevator wasn’t working for the 3 days of our stay. We had to climb 6 flites multiple times a day. All of us are over 70. Staff lied about the elevator repair. Also locked all of us out of the room on the last nite and did not provide maid service the last night. everything should have been pristine.

The window didn’t open. The room was quite warm and smelled of stale cigarettes with a strong overlay of air freshener. The supposed view of the lake, for which we paid extra, was a tiny slit of blue one practically had to squint to see. The toilet and shower aren’t the same tiny cubicle, and everything became drenched. Realizing Citizen M isn’t trying to appeal to our over-50 age group, though fairly expensive, the room decor resembles a freshman girls dorm and the public area decor is quite dystopian.

Lots of stairs in this hotel to get to elevator. Dated property but clean. Our neighboring room had smokers and it filtered into our room. No bottle water. Biggest surprise is that this is a property with 4 or so hotel buildings. They Do not lock each building each night. Normally this is fine by my room was outside the common hall in the stairway area. I felt a little unsettled. I had put the do not disturb on my door and staff knocked 2 times and someone came in the room while I was gone. Items were moved and they opened my window? This left me uneasy. I told the front desk and they said they would make note. This is a hotel with large groups. There is better places to stay

This was a lovely hotel! The staff was very accommodating, arranged transportation, suggested dining and activities, etc. The rooms were comfortable and the morning breakfast was delicious!

Rooms don't match the pictures, service at reception was very poor as they are always busy so don't care about your needs. We arrived a day later due to cancelled flight, called the hotel to notify about our arrival time and when arrived, still had to wait for over 20mins for our room, this is just ridiculous as our room was paid and supposed to be ready from the day before. Don't understand how this is a 4star hotel, there wasn't even a bottle of water in the room. Also the fact that the only way to contact the hotel is by calling direct is very old fashioned and costs money when you call from a different country! no chat or email available (only after the check in), and the calls i've made about next day arrival were pointless as they haven't even addressed or prepared for it.. And please, don't comment that you care about your customers, as you don't :)

This will be the last stay here despite staying several times over the past 15 years. The hotel is now over-price for what it offers. The lobby and room decor is dated and incoherent in design. The room was small and did not reflect the photos at time of booking. The bathroom needs updating and better quality toiletries. Whilst having a dishwasher there were no tablets or washing up liquid. Waste such as used coffee pods were not removed daily. I had asked the hotel for the best available room in advance and an early check in but there was no reply. Check in instructions were sent after checking in. Such a shame as the location is great.

The staff people in the front were really nice. But the room hotel was nothing like in the picture they have here I book the executive room with the balcony and it was no comfortable, really old furniture and doesn’t look nothing like the pictures it didn’t have the little dinning table is just a hallway and a bed. I was really disappointed when I walk inside the room.

Great hotel!
We had a great stay at this hotel. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The first night our room did not have working air conditioning, so we were moved with no issues and even got a nice room upgrade. The hotel is located centrally but on a quieter street, and it has a lovely garden/courtyard. Would stay there again!!
