This hotel was great for our 2 day trip to Paris! The reception staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was great - close to loads of bars/restaurants and le marais and an easy metro ride to montmartre.

Great budget option. The room was very clean and quiet, if tiny. There was just enough room to walk around the bed if the pull-out desk was not in use. No closet, but there was a rack and a few hangers, along with a chair and one luggage rack. Bed was comfortable enough. The shower was very small - the opening to it was only about 18”, and the interior was about 24”x24”, which was too small to bend over and wash your feet without accidentally bumping into the faucet and turning off the shower. The staff cleaned daily. AC worked really well. Front desk was friendly and arranged a taxi for us at the end of our stay.

Wonderful small hotel in a great location
I loved everything about this hotel. The location is fantastic. Relatively short walk to all important sights and the subway station. Excellent food options nearby. Laundromat across the street. The room was small but clean and had enough space for two suitcases. Staff were very nice!

The staff are friendly and can speak English. It is very close to a bus stop and the metro. Alot of cafes and even a McDonald's is near by plus pharmacies. The rooms have small spaces but it was good enough for us. Maybe bit tight for bigger People

A good place to stay
Excellent check in, great helpful staff, aided directions, bus and metro advice and generally was absolutely terrific, could not have asked for more. The location is good with links via train and buses to the centre, good bars and restaurants nearby Room was very clean and had all we needed in it. No complaints from us. A good hotel with all our basic needs catered and at a good price.

We were so happy in this hotel. Pleasant, bilingual staff, helpful at all hours. Clean,updated, quiet, nice view, so close to metro and has delicious boulangerie on the next corner. Recommend wholeheartedly.

This hotel is a gem! I stayed at Hors les Lumières in late April 2024. I’m a woman in my mid-twenties, solo-traveller, and the 9th is a great area to be in. I was a bit nervous about my stay bc it’s so hard to gauge how a hotel is especially when traveling abroad. Let me just say my stay there was absolutely wonderful. The staff were incredibly nice, attentive, and accommodating. The room and bathroom were incredibly clean, which is always my biggest concern, and I was so relieved when I saw how impeccable it was. My room faced the street which I loved , and it had AC, which was a life saver as it was a really warm week in Paris ! I didn’t have a chance to use their restaurant but staff did recommend some places nearby and it was delicious! (Plus the metro station is about a three minute walk away) I felt incredibly safe as well, there was always someone at the lobby, and you need a key card to access the floors. When I arrived my room wasn’t quite ready yet but they held onto my suitcases, and they have a pop-up marche right down the street which I had time to enjoy! Overall , completely honest opinion I’d give it 10/10; no complaints. Really so grateful; you’ll have a lovely stay here if you’re still deciding!

Lovely hotel in a well connected area
Really nice hotel, located in a convenient location just a short metro ride away from Gare Du Nord. Multiple metro and bus links to get around the city and plenty of surrounding cafes, restaurants and supermarkets (many of which are open late). Situated on a quiet road in the middle of busier roads. Area felt really safe to be around.The hotel itself is bright and fairly clean. The double room was on the smaller side but was perfect for a city break where it was only really used to sleep and shower. Would definitely stay here again!
