Somehow our booking through Expedia didn’t work despite booking months in advance and receiving confirmation emails. When we arrived at the hotel they did not have any record of our booking and their hotel was fully booked, fortunately they were very good and offered us a self catering apartment for the duration of our stay. Have filed a complaint with Expedia but have had no reply to date.

good for lovers, not for families
there is no blinds and clear glass between the bathroom and the bedroom so it's only cosy if you are there as a couple ...unfortunately i was a father staying with my 8 year old daughter - so had to resort to having showers when she was asleep ..the only saving grace was a shower curtain between the shower and the toilet - otherwise that would be fully exposed to the bedroom too!

Make sure you want cosy. It's definitely cosy. Very well designed for the limited space. Enjoyed the historic maintenance to the facility. If you like the idea of a tiny design, this place is great. Very quaint and staff was very helpful.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Avalon in Paris. Staff was more than helpful and pleasant to talk with. They address small issues we had ( getting more towels, one day the maid service did not leave any after cleaning our room) they provided helpful information on the area and recommended places to eat and see that were not on our agenda. Location was convenient to all transportation needs and made it easy for use to see Paris without a car.

Get cozy at the Avalon cosy hotel
The super helpful staff stored my luggage before checkin so I could attend my Olympic event. The gare du nord is an easy walk and gives you access to the gorgeous City. The AC is so refreshing and the bed is comfy.
