This is my second stay here; the location is just outside the tourist zone, but within easy walking distance. The staff is warm, welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful; it was a delight to stay at Abbatial Saint Germain

A few things I loved: -Very helpful, professional, kind, and supportive staff -Having the option to book a room with a balcony, and we did love our balcony very much with a view of notre dame -The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was great! -The neighbourhood is very walkable and safe. -If I could be so lucky to get the same room next time I would stay here every time I go to Paris which I now intend to do frequently.

While the staff were attentive and professional we did not like that the junior suite was on ground level and the windows were not soundproofed. The shower had great pressure but the drain was poor so the bathroom flooded with each use. We also could not cast to the TV despite a dedicated button. The room was clean and comfortable but we expected better considering the cost for the 3 nights we stayed. Had we known it was ground level we would have opted for a cheaper room on a higher floor.

Great service!!! The desk was very helpful. The room was nice; a bit small. Bath was very modern and very small. The only objection I had was noise from the street. We had the fartherest room on the side street, but it was a bit noisy. Overall, a nice updated older hotel!

Very loud at night, all street noise can be heard in the rooms (even on upper floors). Rooms were extremely hot, but because of the noise it was too loud to open windows at night (cars, sirens, screaming, construction etc). The air conditioning cannot be operated from the room either. Bathroom was very musty (no fan) and the entire room smelled (like mold). Stained carpets in the rooms. We asked to move rooms, but were not accommodated by staff. The photos of the room and other reviews on Expedia were notably misleading. The redeeming feature of the property is the location and nice lobby, otherwise I would have rated 1-star.

I could not have imagined being met with such courtesy hospitality and kindness from the superior staff the property is surrounded with. William, Veronic, Arjen, and Karim - Your attentiveness to my needs provided me with one of my most memorable business trips, and I appreciate you all more than I can express. Paris is a wondrous city. Abbatial Saint Germain is a phenomenal hotel in a great location. I could not recommend this property more highly.
