Elevators & room
For them to have that many rooms on the property and to only have 1 elevator working for the whole building we stayed on the 19th floor and had to go up and down the stairs everyday/everytime we needed to leave. Also the room was never cleaned we had to wash all the comforters and sheets before we could even go to sleep the towels were dirty as could be with stains and looked to be like pet hair on them all. The people at the lobby didn’t seem to know much of anything when it came to asking about the elevators they just told us it was not their business they don’t know when they would be fixed.

The room was nice , the view was nice and is a good place to be at. But you have to pay for the parking extra $60 dollars , and the elevator takes for ever and is a nightmare, whenever is time to check out is hell to even get down.

The location is fantastic! Lot of pools on the premises! Places to eat on the ground floor! We had a wonderful stay with the only exception being having to wait for elevators! You would have 2 full elevators stop before the third usually had room because half the elevators didn't work!

I arrived with my five children, one was just released from the hospital after 3 weeks. We were 30minutes early and they refused us access to the condo. Va casa said we’d have to wait until 4pm. I sat for 30 minutes on the 19th floor with all five of my children. When we finally were able to get in there was dust everywhere, dirty feet print on the ladder to the bunks and the walls. There was dried ice cream on the sliding glass doors and mold in the first bathroom around the shower. Only 2 tvs worked. We have stayed at Laketown wharf at least a dozen times. This was the worse experience we have ever had. We will not stay at another va casa managed property. We didn’t even get our check in email until we called on our way down to the reservation. Unreal! My husband, who stayed back to work, was unable to get them to communicate. Stay away from this company in PCB and this rental. Gross!!!!

Second time staying at Laketown Wharf as the location is perfect for beach access and main attractions. Balcony has a nice lake view while the front door exit has a beach view. Kitchen had everything we needed as we forgot to pack our own utensils. The only thing was that some bedsheets/linens/towels had some stains and hairs but that was easily fixed with the extra set that were left. Overall, really satisfied with our experience.

The condo was clean. The property is extremely large and not enough elevators. The elevators are slow and can take up to 10 minutes during afternoon crowds. The mattresses need to be replaced, they have zero support and have had many guests on them.

Unpleasant Experience
This was our first time staying at Laketown Wharf and using a property management company (Vacasa); when we arrived at our check in time of 5:00 est (4:00 cst), the room was not cleaned (wet towels in bedroom and hallway, soda can on bedside table, open pop tart box on kitchen counter, trash bag in hallway, carpet not vacuumed, etc). Then the night before we were scheduled to check out, the hot water heater had a hole in the back of it and was continuously leaking (catch pan was overflowing); the closet in which the AC unit and hot water heater was located was so filthy and so much dust where it was clear the maintenance was serviced.

Beautiful place but.....
We have stayed here twice my only complaint our first stay was the wait time for elevators. And for this trip the wait time on elevators and this unit really needs to upgrade their beds worst two nights of sleep in a long time. Unit was nice, and clean had absolutely everything you would need just need to spend a little to upgrade sleeping furniture!

The location was good but the cleanliness of the room was horrible.
The walls had dirt smeared on them with hand prints and feet prints. We had to wash all the bed linens because they weren’t cleaned prior to our stay. Just beds made The towels had to be washed as well due to the fact that they were dirty and it look like someone wiped their butts with them Would not recommend this room at all

Good location, but poor management
Unfortunately our room and floors were very dirty, the hot water was turned off on the big tub, the toilets didn't work, the hot tubs were roped off, the beds and sofas were very uncomfortable, the outside furniture was broken, our parking passes had the wrong dates, the room wasn't ready at 4 as promised, and I waited on hold to report problems that never were fixed.

We arrived at check in time 4pm and the door code didn’t work to enter the condo. After being on hold for 2 hours trying to get in the condo I randomly just so happen to run into a person who worked for Vacasa on the elevator that finally helped us get the correct door code. Once we got in the condo the place was a wreck: nothing was cleaned, there were still dirty sheets and covers very where, trash was full. With COVID going on I thought the place would have been cleaned extensively but that definitely was not the case. Finally around 730pm I received a call that cleaning people were finally on the way to clean the condo. Also the pictures for the ad showed a beach view balcony but it was not. the condo balcony actually faced the road.

We had a few issues with water leaking from the refrigerator no arm bands in the room. Mold and slippery floor in the large shower Kitchen floor not mopped. If it was mopped it was with dirty water. Broken chairs left on the balcony that should have been taken out and thrown away instead of stacked up on the storage bin.

Things good and bad
Condo is actually decent and clean. Few things we found TVs couldn’t get to work right in living room and bunk bed area. Couldn’t get cable at all. Then the shower head in master bath seems like it’s clog or something only good pressure about half of it. Other than that great location great price right at beach lots of pools and hot tubs. I would recommend it. Won’t find one for that price for that nice thanks for helping get away

I loved the views from the 19th floor and all the pool and beach access. The condo was just like the pictures and were very happy with the space. Very unhappy with how dirty our condo was upon arrival. Every dish that was pulled out of the cabinets had old food stuck on them and I don’t mean a little! They were nasty. I had to wash 2 sink fulls by hand because the dishwasher was not going to do the job. We only had 2 washcloths in the entire unit for 4 people and a 8 day stay so we went to the lobby to get more and was told they were out and didn’t have anymore to give us. We went to Walmart and bought enough to last us the week. Dirty used bandaids around the master bathroom bathtub. If you barely scratch the surface the entire condo needed a deep cleaning. Will definitely stay in Panama again but maybe not through Vacasa but the other side of laketown wharf because they had washcloths and could not give them to us because of different sides and maybe their units are cleaner. The master bathroom light above the tub doesn’t work and neither does one of the lamps in the master bedroom. All around it was a great trip and our first time in Panama and even though we had to do doing some cleaning and noticed some things they can improve on it was good.

Love the condo hate the elevator's
The condo didnt disappoint at all. It was beautiful and clean. The bedding did however have some stains on them. The mattresses where also stained up as well as the carpets and a few light bulbs where blown in the master bathroom and the tub handles where extremely hard to turn on and off. Another than that the condo was clean and up to our standards. The elevator's however sucked. It took any where from 10 to 30 minutes to get an elevator during prime time such as mid-morning through 7p. Trying to get on an elevator to leave was almost impossible. We had to carry our luggage down 9 flights of stairs and then go to the rooftop of the parking garage and get on that elevator. When you have people that are staying with you in another condo with difficulty walking and breathing it makes it tough for them. I suggest installing more elevators and adding fans or some sort of ventilation to the elevator's and the stair wells as they where both extremely warm to be on. However the pools where wonderful and the food and drinks from the resort where delicious. Also the locked gate for the beach access was broken as well. The main pool could not run the water fountains and the water falls in the pool at the same time either. Grounds and pools where clean but the main pool did have plastic floating in it as well. We stayed at this resort a few years ago and didnt have the same problem with the elevator's but this year was a disappointment. Also the condo could have used more pots and pans to cook with.

Wonderful time at the beach
The condo accommodated 7 of us perfectly! The wait for elevators were pretty long around check in and check out times. WiFi signal could have been better. Loved the nightly water & light show on the lake. Overall we had a wonderful time at the beach!
