Penthouse Vibes
Amazing hotel. Beautiful view from my gulf coast double queen bed room. Felt as if I was in a modern penthouse with those views and the backdrop from the amazingly clean and beautiful room. Loved all the amenities. Not sure if pool was heated but it felt as if it was which made it perfect to lounge around the lazy river when nightfall came. Very convenient location. The pier is 10 mins walking east of hotel with shopping, restaurants and fun!! Even enjoyed the spirits available at bar across the street.

Stayed for 3 nights. This was our second time to stay here and this will be our place to stay everytime we come to Panama City Beach. Great staff, great location, everything you need. You could park your car and never leave in it til checkout.

The staff was not very friendly. I had to pay an extra $50 to get a late check out, before heading to the airport. I could have been a customer, that needs a place to stay in the area every two months, but I will not choose this hotel.

Overall, GREAT but front desk staff need training
Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel & would stay again but the front desk staff sucked. We arrived the Hyatt PCB for our "mini moon" - a little trip after our wedding. I called the night before arriving to confirm our room would be on a high floor, the woman I spoke with had an attitude about the reason for my call, but confirmed that I paid for & will be placed on a high floor. We arrive the next day & the man checking us in was not enthused to be there & it showed. We are then told our room is on the 4th floor (out of 11). I tell him "no, I confirmed last night we are on a high floor." He tells me there is nothing else available. After these two experiences with the front desk workers, I'm upset that this might be a sneak peek into what our stay will be like. The front desk was dry, blunt, & unenthused about providing any kind of customer service. Frankly, they sucked. Therefore, I avoided the front desk for the rest of our stay & things were great. Our room was beautiful. We spent a lot of time in the Lazy River & Pool. Great area with lots of seating & great access to the bar & restaurant menu. They provided the best wings & burger I think I've ever had. There was nothing super special about it, it was just done really well. The bartenders, waitstaff, & housekeeping staff were absolutely LOVELY. They clearly had an understanding of customer service. I recommend staying on the ocean side of the building. Other side, can get loud if there is an event in town.
