Very nice property close to Pier Park that has great shopping & dining within a mile of the Hyatt. Room & beds comfortable & the complimentary breakfast was great , with a lot of options Complimentary beach chairs & umbrella were great!! Beach beautiful!! Need more staffing however, only one person & should extend hours from 7-5, rather than 9-5. The only negative would be the front desk staff who were beyond rude & witnessed an unwillingness to help a Spanish speaking family, making them wait until someone came back from lunch. Have a translator or translation line… Rude to us as well. We were there 3-4 hours prior to check in, but NEVER offered a changing room, a room to keep our bags, etc . Roomed at 4:30. Only saving grace was the manager Bobby, who not only apologized for the rude treatment, but gave us a dinner credit at the hotel restaurant.

The rooms are nicely decorated with a beachy feel. A little disappointing that they don’t clean each day as the sand finds it way in. So I just borrowed a broom and did it myself. Maybe a broom in each room would be helpful! We also had little ants in the bathroom but not a bug deal. The bed was comfy. The view from the ocean view room was second to none. The beach service was amazing and the beach itself is better than any beach in Mexico, hands down. We will be back.

The resort has the feel of an all inclusive even though it’s not. The Starbucks is seriously lacking they were out of lots of things and very limited options. Bobby at the front desk is a gem. He made sure we felt welcome, had everything we needed, and answered all our questions with a smile. He deserves a shout out. The only issue we had is that they gave us only 4 towels and when we asked for more they told us we could come get them. We went to the desk twice and the lady was rude and told the girls to go back to the room they would bring them. We waited 30 min no towels and I went back down and Bobby got them sent up right away.
