This centrally located condo has everything you need for the perfect beach getaway. The bunk room with its own TV is just what the kids are looking for. The open floor plan and wet bar are great for an evening in at the condo, and the spacious balcony with views of the beach, resort pool and pier are all unmatched by anywhere in the area.

This resort is walking distance to some of the area's biggest attractions. Pier Park is just across the street, with many options for the areas best shopping, dining and attractions including the areas new Sky Wheel. Take a stroll to the pier and see what the fishermen are reeling in, or catch your own dinner. You are also just a short distance from Zoo World and Gulf World, as well as mini-golf, arcades and more!

Things to Know
Pool construction in the East and West towers is occuring April through mid-May 2024. During this time, Calypso Tower 3 pool is available for guests staying in Towers 1 and 2.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Good location, not so good condo

The best thing about this condo is the location and view. We probably won't be back to Panama but if we did we would stay in calypso again but not this condo. The living room furniture is very outdated and uncomfortable. Furniture has stains. The floor turned my feet/socks black. The only smart TV was in the living room and the only app that actually worked was Netflix. The kitchen was stocked enough for us, utensils wise, but we typically only cook breakfast on vacation. The bathroom shower curtains were moldy and the caulk is coming off. There were no batteries in any of the remotes. The water dispenser in the fridge did not work.

We enjoyed staying beachfront and the room was decorated nicely. We did not have enough towels for everyone or any extra blankets. The furniture popped when you set down and felt as if you sunk into them. The bed in the master was worn out and needed to be replaced. The washer and dryer was rusted and very dated (the lint tray had holes and made removing lint from the dryer hard) the kitchen appliances were also very dated along with the fridge having cracked shelving in the door so we were afraid to use them. If this unit would receive all new furniture and appliances, it would be a great unit as the location was great. The firework show was wonderful from the room. The master bed had a huge dip in the middle so our backs are hurting badly after a week of sleeping in it. If everything was to be updated, we would stay again. The wood on the walls looked a nice and the decorations was very homey.

Issue

Everything was perfect until checkout. We paid for extended checkout and the code was changed on door at 10:00AM. Waisted an hour trying to get into room to get luggage and leave by 2:00.

A Week in PCB

Our week in PCB was nothing but fabulous! We arrived at our clean, great smelling, beautifully decorated condo around 3. It was everything we could have asked for and more. The view of the beach from our 14th floor balcony was phenomenal! The Calypso is perfectly located and is within walking distance of Russell-Fields City Pier, one of the longest piers on the Gulf of Mexico at 1500 feet long. Across the street you will find Pier Park which has an abundance of specialty shops, eateries, and adult or family entertainment. Our time in Panama City Beach was unforgettable and we will return!!!

Beautiful view, condo lacks a bit

The view was absolutely amazing. We love the Calypso and have stayed for 10 years in different properties. This one needs updating. There were no kitchen towels or pot holders, but the manager brought some over the same day. We had an issue with the air conditioning not working after a storm, and that was fixed as well. I feel more silverware and basic kitchen goods need added, updated. As I said, this condo could use some updated furniture and appliances.

Great location and stay

Just as promised and advertised, right on the beach. Amazingly friendly staff at the Calypso and in PCB in general. Some of the best beaches we have ever been on. Only word of advice has nothing to do with the property: If you are used to many Uber and Lyft options in your home region, know that there are very few in Panama City Beach. Might be well worth the car rental or use of local Taxi/Shuttle services. Would recommend Beach Boys Shuttle and Taxi service. Other than that-great time had by all!

Great Location!

Across the street from Pier Park, Walmart about 1/2 mile. Bring your own towels!! Only 4 bath towels provided and no beach towels!

The condo was not clean-the bathrooms were not clean and there is duck tape on the microwave holding it together. Also, the air conditioning was terrible! Pool security is also ridiculous!!

Good vacation

It was a good vacation. The parking deck is a nightmare. You use a barcode to scan in and out that it takes about 10 swipes to get it to work. Tried to get a paper copy but no luck. It was ok cleanliness upon arrival. There was some sand in the bunk beds and the couch fold out bed so had to wash first. Not enough towels/washcloths for everyone to take showers. If your a coffee drinker, the coffee pot needs a good vinegar clean. We just bought us a cheap one at Walmart . Overall it was a decent place to stay. Mostly everything we needed considering we cooked a few nights. Walking distance to pier park is a plus. The manager is very nice. Would probably stay here again.

Access Limited

Owner code never worked. Calypso desk of no help. Told us to contact owner. Nobody showed up at gate to access. Another owner gave us their code to use. No ironing board. Location was awesome and condo was nice.
