This newly renovated, family friendly, cabin is located on Finger Lake with a view of the Talkeetna mountain range. You can fish, canoe, and snow shoe from the backyard. Rest and relax while you enjoy mountain and sunset views or warm by the fire. You are in a quiet area, but close to shopping and restaurants. Right on the Palmer Wasilla line, a great central location or home base for explaining all that Alaska has to offer in every direction. The cabin offers a great stay if you are a couple trying to get away, you are working remotely, or are a family taking vacation.

Amazing
Such a kind host, was willing to give detailed directions, sent suggestions for things to do places to eat, the place felt like home and was very quiet and safe!! We had a great time enjoying the view off the porch and watching the swans on the lake!! Hopefully she will accept us back in the summer so we can use a kayak and swim!! Beautiful place 10/10 recommend!

Unforgettable stay!
Haley was the best host!!! We felt so blessed and grateful to have had a chance to experience her beautiful property. Although our stay was short we found everything we needed from coffee and tea in the kitchen, to laundry detergent and plenty of towels in the bathroom. Haley was kind enough to notify us when the northern lights were out and we were able to capture some beautiful pictures. We will definitely be staying again in the future!! Thank you again Haley!

Perfect lake cabin close to town
Probably the best vrbo host I’ve had. Very kind and thoughtful. Haley even when I asked if they had a football for my boys to throw in the yard… a new one showed up. And we were able to use the kayaks and paddle boards after signing the waiver. Was so much fun to fish and explore the lake. The house is smallish but it fit our family of 4 just fine and has all you’ll need. Highly recommend!

Just what we were looking for!
Haley was a supreme host! Our family of 5 were comfortable and happy staying in this adore land clean cabin. Such a beautiful and quiet little place tucked away in a serene setting! Haley had thought of EVERYTHING we could’ve wanted and then some! She even dropped off board games for us and provided the coffee/laundry detergent/soaps/etc we needed to make our stay extra pleasant! We felt cared for and safe. The check in and check out process was smooth and any questions we had —or food recommendations— were quickly answered by Haley. She is very communicative and helpful. We would definitely recommend- it has everything you need here! You won’t be disappointed and it is very clean and pretty:).

Exquisite Stay
My wife and I had rented this place for a birthday getaway. This cozy cabin by the lake was the perfect getaway! The serene surroundings and stunning views of the lake made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. Two weeks not enough
Chose the cabin for a two week anniversary adventure! The cabin offered everything we wanted… beautiful views, comfortable and safe inside & out, felt like being at home. Haley & Landon were awesome hosts and had great suggestions of places to go & see during our visit. Location is great to allow you to venture and see all that Alaska offers… but 2 weeks was not enough! We will be back & will plan to stay at the cabin again.

Home away from home!
My girlfriend and I found this cabin on account of bookings we made for a different cabin falling through and once we arrived here, we couldn’t have been happier with the outcome! The cabin was even more beautiful than the pictures portray. Everything within the cabin was well decorated and maintained, tidy and very clean. It was stocked with cookware, usual ingredients for cooking, and coffee. Haley began communicating with us a few hours before our arrival and if we ever inquired about anything during our trip she couldn’t have been more gracious with her accommodations. This area is great because of how accessible it is to the major highways and Anchorage is only 45min to 1hr away. We loved the serenity and quietness of this cabin’s surroundings and even saw a moose in the background one morning while having coffee! This cabin truly played a huge part in the overall satisfaction of our trip!

Wedding getaway
My husband and I stayed at Cabin on the Lake while in town for our daughter’s dream wedding. It was minutes from restaurants and shopping in Palmer and Wasilla. The view was spectacular and the cabin was the perfect size for us. My husband dozed off on the sofa one afternoon and commented how comfortable it was. The bedroom, living room and bathroom were spacious and there was plenty of closet space as well. Haley was wonderful. Upon arriving at the airport, she texted us dining recommendations enroute to the cabin. She even gave us great tourist tips on things to see and do in the Palmer area. I’m really glad she sent us to Hatchers Pass and lodge. The views (and apple pie) were amazing. Driving instructions and parking onsite were spot on, too. Highly recommend this cabin. Great host.
