Beautiful Country
Check-in was alright. Steps in the dark are very dangerous. There are 2 motion sensored lights that last maybe 5 seconds each. We didn’t use the pool because it was too cold. The house was very cold when we arrived and through the first night. We found out later that someone turned off the thermostat. The Internet didn’t work for 2 days. The host stayed in contact and we finally figured it out. Again… someone had reset it. The furniture in the living room is not the same as the pictures. Not comfortable. There is no washer even though the listing says there is one. We expected to wash clothes. The hot water disappeared for 5+ hours one day after my wife washed breakfast dishes by hand. The view is obstructed by a power line. When we checked out, it was raining and dark and the designated steps are staggered so you never know if you’ll slip and fall because the lights don’t stay on. My wife is disabled, but I am not. I still feared that I would fall all the way down. We had to go out the balcony steps. There is a whole level of house downstairs that we could not access. Maybe that is where the mysterious washer resides? The land is beautiful, but I would not book here again.

Beautiful villa in rural location
We had a lovely week at Villa Palma, the views are incredible and the pool is perfect. Plenty of different seating areas outside and a great internal space with good sized rooms. Well equipped kitchen. The town and beach resort of Gandia is 15-20 minutes drive, and the route is fairly windy on small rural roads as the villa is very secluded. Gandia is lively with a huge beach, lots of restaurants and beachside shops, a typical Spanish resort. Oliva beach is a smaller quieter beach 40 minutes away. The host is very helpful and responded to our queries almost immediately. We would highly recommend this villa for a peaceful relaxing holiday away from the hustle of the tourist resorts.

If you are looking for total relaxation this is the place you need to be. A rural environment in the middle of only orange trees with great views. The host is a huge help when needed.

Urlaub im Orangenhain
Der Urlaub in der Villa La Palma war gut. Das Haus ist fern ab von jeglichem Trubel ca. 15 min ausserhalb von Gandia in einer Gegend mit Orangenplantagen und die Aussicht ist wirklich schön. Es ist gut ausgestattet, jedoch schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Das einzige was bei Temperatuern weit über 30° fehlt ist eine Klimaanlage, aber der Pool sorgt zwischendurch für Abkühlung. Man kann hinter dem Haus abends gut sitzen und grillen, frühstücken sollte man auf der vorderen Terasse, da hat man ab dem Vormittag Schatten und kann die Aussicht bis zu den gegenüberliegenden Bergen genießen. Man sollte auf jedenfall ein Auto oder Fahrräder dabeihaben um die umliegenden Geschäfte und Restaurants zu erreichen.

Très bien à tous les niveaux. Mais une voiture est vraiment nécessaire le moindre déplacement.
