Great well located hotel
We are local and needed a stay due to some construction at our house. The Dunes is a newly renovated property that is fresh, well located, and worth the value. The rooms are very comfortable, staff friendly. A few things, like old doors and trim woodwork missed in the renovation, but it didn’t affect the comfort or cleanliness level. Big roomy shower, comfortable bed. Walkable to downtown Palm Springs.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel has been recently updated and the rooms were comfortable and modern. Would have liked some more drawers, but for a short stay, this place was great.

Glad we chose this one
The hotel was exactly as pictured. Mountain View is so calming when we stepped out each morning. All staff we encountered were friendly and happy to answer questions we had. Hotel is located only a couple blocks away from the main retail corridor of downtown Palm Springs. Many great restaurants were within walking distance as well as the art museum. There is a grocery store across the street to grab snack items and beverages to store in your room’s refrigerator. We will stay here again if we return to the area.

Gorgeous decor
Very hip and beautifully refurbished. Comfy beds, good shower. My only complaint was the air conditioning blew directly on me all night-the vents should be directed UP or down but not straight toward the bed. The staff were the nicest and you could tell they liked working there, a very positive attitude. Recommend from me!

We stayed here for 2 nights with 2 adults and 2 kids in December. Overall it was good. The pool gets heated to 89 degrees I think they said, and the hot tub was nice and hot too. The check in went super smoothly, we arrived early and they already gave us our room. The person chekcing us in was very nice and helpfull. All the doors work with a code, so you don't need a key. There is a grocery outlet across the street and all kinds of shopping and restaurants withing walking distance. The only not so great thing was the noise. Our ac was extremely loud, and you can hear the people above you..alot. There also wasn't much space to put your clothes etc, no dresser or anything and only 2 hooks in the bathroom for towels etc. The room in general was a tad small, especially for 4 people.

We were very impressed with this hotel. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with nice modern style. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. There is a really cool fridge in the room, big compared to most minibars and it has a freezer section too. There was also a common area next to the pool for ice, water and had 2 microwaves. I come to PS to visit a relative and normally stay at the Hilton however I would definitely stay at The Dunes in the future.

The property is great for an older property. The renos are nice. We loved the pool area and all the different sitting areas and places to just hang out out doors. Staff were super friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I just didn't like the check in on line process and having to upload my ID and credit card only to find that when I arrived I had to still present it to the clerk. I'd rather not upload my ID online as you never know where it is going or who its going to be shared with. Thank you We'd definetly stay again.
