We had horrible experience of this hotel. First, we had to drag our bags to the hotel as taxi driver dropped us in the next street corner because it was no entry street. Then the room they gave us was stinking with dust, mold and mite as if it was not used for years ! The bathroom was stinking with bad smell! The bed was hair of the queen size single bed. So we called Expedia. They gave us another room, which was worse if not good. Two tween bed on each corner of the room and bathroom was stinking and room was as not used for years ! The furniture was century old and not maintained! We jdecided to checked out and moved to another hotel , Grand Hotel Wagner after we went there and checked it out ourself. We were celebrating our 41st anniversary and we were totally disappointed with Eurostar and we called Expedia for give us full refund. Expedia should not list this hotel at all. Please take it out of your listing and arrange for the full refund. Thank you for understanding!!

I don’t post reviews but due to how poor quality this hotel is I feel compelled to do so. The hotel advertises double rooms. Beware, as they provide poor quality 3/4 beds also known as French beds. Alternatively, if you’re really unfortunate you’ll be given a couple of single beds aka a rock and a hard place. If you like tired facilities, smoke smells in the corridors, stained pillow cases, noisy rooms from the infernal scrapping of chairs on the dining room hard floor above your head in the early hours, along with unhelpful argumentative staff, and overpaying when there is soooo much better value out there, this hotel is for you.

This was my first stay at Centrale Palace - and compared to the other hotels used at my various regular visits to Palermo, this one is the least likeable. I was attracted by its location, which is definitely great for enjoying the old city. However, there were many practical inconveniences. The state of our room did not give me any fresh feeling - it is rather plain, in the worst sense, and its 2 paintings would do better not to be on its walls, at all. Horrible side view - even if I had reserved a "junior suite". One full day without Internet, because of some hotel wide malfunction which was never solved. Not even a welcoming bottle of water is offered by the hotel - yes, even one bottle of plain water will be charged. Breakfast, of course, is NOT included (not the norm at the hotels which I normally use). in conclusion, will never go back.

A beautiful building in the heart of historic downtown Palermo, the staff were very helpful. Roberto the bartender on the rooftop bar makes the best Negroni I've ever had.

An enjoyable and relaxing stay in Palermo.
The hotel is very well situated at the heart of Palermo. It is an old style hotel which is well furnished. The room allocated was clear, secure and very comfortable. It was also a good size for a single occupancy. The breakfast provided by the hotel was very good. All of the staff I encountered were very helpful and friendly particularly the young lady who checked me into the hotel. If I was returning to Palermo I would definitely consider staying at the hotel again.

A gorgeous hotel!
This is an absolutely gorgeous hotel. It was formerly the residence of an aristocratic family. To reach the bedrooms, you walk through different parlors that are furnished with antiques. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. There is a fantastic restaurant on the top floor. We sat outside and enjoyed the food while watching the sunset. It is in a very convenient area of Palermo. We felt safe walking in the area. Around the corner is a pedestrianized area filled with restaurants. We would visit Palermo again just to stay at the Eurostars Centrale Palace. I cannot recommend it enough.
