Quiet and cozy apartment with sea and mountain views just 75 meters from the beach.

High in the trees and overlooking the town? Staying in the Roca Rubia 1 apartment will make you feel like you are in a bird‘s nest.
Due to its location, you will be able to relax as you will be in your own little vacation bubble.
Take a glass of wine in the evening (or during the day ;)) while enjoying the stunning views of Tamariu and its beach through pine trees.

This lovely cosy apartment is located only 75 meters from the beach, in a residential street where only neighbours go. The apartment is on a ground floor, facing south.
The bedroom is comfortable and very bright as it has a large window facing to the village. The dining room has a sofa bed suitable for 2 children or young people (not recommended for big people). It has an air split for climatization and it’s airy and open. The kitchen is new and well equipped for a comfortable stay.
This apartment has a very large rooftop terrace shared with one other resident of the house (there are only two apartments), where you can dry your clothes in the sun, sunbathe, read a book surrounded by nature or play with your kids.

Tamariu:
Tamariu is an old beach town of Palafrugell, where until a few years ago fishing was the main activity. Over the years it has become a place of great tourist attraction, especially for its unique nature and coastline cliffs.
There are two supermarkets in Tamariu, ten restaurants and bars, a hairdresser, two bakeries, three hotels and a few shops where you can utensils and beachwear. There is also a diving center, kayak rental and boat rental agency. On Saturday night, during the summer season, there are usually different types of music on the Boulevard. Music styles that go from "Havaneres" to "Disco" music. Bars and restaurants don't stay open until late though. Tamariu is a place that is focussed on families. There is only one bar on La Riera that remains open until after 1 am.
Some great old traditions are still celebrated in town, such as celebrations like: Sta. Maria on August 15th, "sardinadas" or popular "garoinadas", Las Fiestas de Primavera de Palafrugell, La festa dels Indianos of Begur, Mercat Boig of Llafranc, etc ...

Transportation:
We recommend coming by car to Tamariu for your best convenience. In case you do, there is a very economical parking located in the pine forest when entering Tamariu.

Comments:
- City Tax is 1,10 € per person and day. IF YOU BOOK WITH AIRBNB, THIS TAX IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE AND HAS TO BE PAID ASIDE.
- If you wish to sleep separately, it is important to advise before or while making the reservation. In any case, at least 3 days before your arrival. Depending on the variation it implies, it may be charged separately (12€/set)
- We work with a self check-in system via our own mobile application! In any case, we are available for anything that could happen during your stay.
- Check-in is possible after 15h.
- Sheets and towels (shower) are provided for the amount of guests indicated in the reservation. Any extra set (towels or sheets) is 10€.
- Beach towels are not provided
- The cleaning fee covers the final cleaning at the end of your stay
- PARTIES are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN
- It is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to SMOKE in any part of the apartment
- It is possible to park free of charge along to the road of the apartment from October to June only. During the rest of the year this is not possible. There are other parking options (paid & unpaid) available in Tamariu.
- On the day of departure, it is important for you to wash your dishes, take the garbage away (there are public containers on the square of Tamariu's main road), turn off all lights and electric devices, leave the keys on the dining table and close the door behind you when you walk out.
There is a mandatory tourist tax of 1,10€/person/night which is not included in the rental price. It has to be paid directly to the rental agency either through our Guest App or by credit card over the phone before arrival.

By default only the number of beds needed for the amount of people indicated in the reservation will be set up, using the main bedroom for the first 2 guests. If you wish to sleep separately, it is important to advise before or while making the reservation. In any case, at least 3 days before your arrival. Depending on the variation it implies, it may be charged separately (12€/set)

If you are coming with more people than indicated in the reservation, the following extra costs will incur:
- 12€ or 18€ (depending on season) supplement per extra guest, per night
- 10€ per extra set of towels
- 10€ per extra set of sheets
- 1,10€ tourism tax (per extra person and night)

Norms:
Smoking and parties of any kind in the apartment are prohibited. In all cases, quiet hours go from 22h until 9am.
People under the age of 25 are not allowed in the property unless they come with their elders.
Pets are not allowed.

Make sure to explore the Guide in there before the day of your arrival, so you get familiar with things in advance for a smooth self check-in. In any case, be sure to write to us or call if you need help! :)

Upon check-out, the keys must be put back in the lock-pad where you took them from. Please make sure to close it's door once the keys are inside and then change the combination so it stays securely locked.
Dishes must be washed and done by the guest and the garbage bags need to be thrown away before departing. In the guide of our App you'll find instructions on where to find the containers.
We also insist on keeping the kitchen and all surfaces clean and tidy with no organic food. Make sure to rinse off any trace of sun screen from your bodies before sitting on sofa/beds/using shower towels during your stay as you are in a natural environment and ants will pay you a visit!

As much as we love to share our place with travelers wishing to explore, we also try to maintain a sustainable activity:
- Please be responsible with the use of electronic devices and lights, reminding you to shut things off while not being used or being away for the day.
- Be concerned about water usage, the toilet flush not getting stuck or leaking, and make sure to keep the door of the fridge open the strictly necessary time (it happens to be the most power consuming home appliance!!).
- We will also appreciate you shaking off the sand from your beach towels and flip flops or shoes before walking in, but never in the shower or sinks, pipes get clogged with the sand !!!

Please be responsible for the use of appliances and lamps, that the toilet tank does not leak, that it uses the water that is really needed, and that it turns off the lights while away.

Emplacement génial, vue superbe à travers les pins parasol, la plage et les commerces à quelques marches... l'appartement est bien pour deux personnes ou avec de jeunes enfants. Canapé lit dans le salon pour le 2e couchage et petit balcon. Il est possible de se garer dans la rue au dessus à quelques centaines de mètres et dizaines de marches
